Default Gerald Green arrives in Indy

    http://www.nba.com/pacers/video/2012...iewf4v-2187011

Screw superstars, Gerald Green loves Indianapolis. And he's NOT on Twitter, so that settles that.

It seems obvious now but I didn't really consider how what he's gone through in his career could set a great example for Lance. Up to Lance to listen, and it's a perfect world scenario obviously, but listening to Green could do him a world of good.

I really liked what he had to say, but he made me a little dizzy moving back and forth during the interview. Must be his high-energy level. He seemed to genuinely like the city.

Seems to be a likable guy.

Also nice to have that Twitter issue cleared up. That was a little confusing, and I actually thought one of them was real. I've now unfollowed that account.

Yea, same here. No wonder that account never got verified.

I think he'll be a fan favorite here. Seems well spoken and obviously exciting on the court, which fans will definitely support. Looks like he's genuinely grown up and learned from his past...

Loved the Green signing. Seems like a very likeable guy. I'm sure he'll win fans over very quickly if he plays like last year (hopefully even better). Make 3s + Highlight Dunks = Crazy Rabid Fans
Lance + Starting SG = Awesome

    Now really free Lance!

Big fan of getting Gerald on the Pacers. I think he is going to fit in very well.

We have a really exciting core group of young and talented players. Sky's the limit for this team if they believe in their own abilities, which I know Frank will get them to do.

Like pretty much everything he said. Especially the part about helping the young guys to not make the same mistakes he did coiming in the league.

Good solid interview. Can't take much stock from it but if he said he was a low energy player and that he wasn't terribly excited to be here we'd be up in arms. So I guess it's fine to gush over this.
Reggie Miller is a God. Period.

    Passion. Pride. Pacers.

    It's ALWAYS Miller Time.

That's an interview technique known as the "Brandon Rush Shuffle". You aren't supposed to just come out and say "I'm very high" though.

Makes me nauseous every time. I picture a Roomba underneath Brandon's feet.

I was fooled by @GeraldGreen_.. even PG sounded fooled too.
The Pacers officially confirmed it to me personally though.

You would have to be really bored to want to pretend you're Gerald Green on Twitter. What a loser.

Very impressive how he has matured from when he first came into the league. It seems like being out of the league has humbled him and he's learned not to take anything for granted, which has translated into becoming an effective player. You don't see many NBA players who bounce back like that. I'm definitely a fan of the pick-up.

I'm pretty sure George Hill responded to that account not very long after Gerald signed with us as well. Quite a few NBA players are following that account.

Good Interview. Seems like a good guy.
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.
