USA should be embarrased atm, Tunisia is playing pretty well but still should be much more of a blowout. I like Doc Rivers analysis at halftime saying these other teams are daring the US to shoot 3's and that's their chance to win.
Say that after the game ends, not at halftime.

Yep, he is looking better on the bench.Heck of a run here.

If Tunisia could hit free throws they would only be behind by 25.

I want more Anthony Davis with my USA basketball. Every time he plays he makes things happen.

I think Davis is going to come into the season so much more ready to go than he would have had he not had this opportunity.

The Olympics...the only time a coach can bench both Lebron James and Kobe Bryant for uninspired play and not be fired immediately for it.

Gotta hand it to coach K, that took balls. (And I'm glad for the Men handled it like they should.)

Very impressed by Anthony Davis. He blends in well with all the veterans and fits in perfectly. Future of USA basketball is in great hands with Davis on board

    It was ****ing stupid epic.

I was barely old enough to remember it, but I remember being glued to the TV. I wonder if I can find someone selling the DVD's of all the original dream team games. That would be awesome.

Yeah they played a MUCH better 2nd half, and maybe it was an overreaction, but its just a bad sign to do that. It probably won't be an issue and they'll play hard the whole game against the Spain's and Argentina's.

I've noticed that NBC does a terrible job at advertising the timeslots for the different events, no crawl at the bottom telling you when events will be televised.

As for USA Mens basketball. I can't stand watching it anymore. Its very boring. I welcome the possible change to the under 23 teams. At least that way there will be an actual challenge.

There will be some challenge when they get to better teams. There's at least some college teams that could probably beat Tunisia, and an under 23 would've ran the floor with them just like this team did.

It wouldn't be a challenge if every country sent their under-23 teams. How many under-30 stars are there on any of these international teams, let alone 23?

We could theoretically send a team of:

    Durant
    Westbrook
    Rose
    Love
    Monroe
    Davis
    Irving
    Cousins
    Curry
    Wall
    MKG
    Lopez or McGee

Really, which country's under-23 team is going to come close to that one? It would be much worse than before.

All USA Basketball games are on the NBCSports Channel, formally verses. They show them live during the day. Find your local times and stations here: http://www.nbcolympics.com/get-local/tvlistings.html

I hope going to under 23 wouldn't prevent some foreign stars from coming to the NBA. You think China would have something to say about this?

Alternate idea: NBA players who wish to play in the Olympics but are too old can join the USA handball team.

I don't see how making it 23 and under is going to make it more competitive. Davis and company would still be a superior team.

If it goes to under 23 it'll be back to the old days of BIG US domination. It wouldn't be massive blowouts in every game, but you're not going to see competitive to the last couple minutes gold medal games.

I'm assuming that the US will be the only country that goes to under 23.
