should just give Delfino/Nocioni their rest, no point to keep them in anymore.

I hope they dont. I want them to stay in there and absorb more of this *** kicking.

this seems a probable semifinals matchup too, btw, now that Spain has lost to Brazil.

    126-97. That was personal.

That was a scary good second half.

I REALLY want to see that team again in the 2nd round of the elimination games. I hope we absolutely put on a clinic and set all sorts of records against them that makes the Nigeria game look tame in comparison lol.

That second half was one of the most gratifying I've ever seen. Watching Argentina flop around that entire first half was maddening.

Westbrook putting a little extra mustard on that dunk made me jump out of my seat. I seriously want to play these guys again and let them know that they're our *****es.

I actually like the referees on this Olympics they don't give a damn who the F Lebron James is, they let him cry all he wants and I like it, the same thing happens to cry baby Kobe and CP3.

    Westbrook's so fun to watch.

And yup Vnzla... CP3 is one of the dirtiest, whiniest players in the league. He annoys the hell out of me.

Have you been watching the Olympics? These guys can not even tell who hit the ball out let alone what a foul is.

The thing is, at least the reffing is equally bad for both teams, unlike the privileged status the super stars have "earned" in the NBA. This just shows that when things are equal, good or bad, the most talented team will come out in the end.

Yep exactly what I like, if they are equally bad it makes the games better in my opinion, the part that **** me off is the part were referees are afraid of the Lebron's, Kobe's and Chris Paul's of this world, today I was trying to root for the US but their crying and complaining from the divas really turned me off.

From this US team the players I like are Westbrook, Iguadola and Durant that's it, everybody else are a bunch of cry babies.

I'm a huge Kobe fan but was completely annoyed with his constant whining, and then lack of hustle on defense. As an assistant basketball coach, NOTHING bothers me more than that. The refs only affect the game if you let them...ESP when you have superior talent. Shut up, play defense, and the rest will take care of itself.

Lithuania can't hit a free throw - or mostly anything for that matter.

if you've watched the Olympics and still think 2/$20mm for AK47 isn't approaching a bargain, I don't know what to tell ya

Kirilenko was worth 15 mil not that long ago.
but the thing with him was never ability to impact individual games.
He just wasn't able to get through the NBA grind / minor injuries lately and sustain it for a full season. To be seen.

he was dominant ever since the Eurobasket last summer. But he did it in the summer '07 too. Then he went back to the Jazz, and the grind got to him. + clashed with Jerry Sloan over his role.

If we could afford him, I would glady take AK47 as our top backup PF. This is the only position of need that hasn't been addressed in the off season

Reason why I laughed at the people freaking out for his new contract, the guy can play D and guard anybody, he can pass the ball, he can shoot, he is a triple double waiting to happen at anytime.

i'd love to see Jasikevicius' +/- in this game. it feels like it's -30 or so. every time he was in, it would initiate Russia's run.

just saw Kirilenko's numbers - 19-13-3-3-3 (the final two - blocks and steals). Crazy. On 8 shots too.
