I really seldom do this, but I hope he gets a career ending injury. Guy is a douche and represents the worst in egotistical stars.

Never cool. I lost a lot of respect for you... wishing an injury upon someone and turning around to call him a douche? Fuzzy maths.

And to answer the question, I care greatly, since Dallas is supposedly in the mix. But no matter where he goes, I will care. I was living in FL leading up to the draft that year and bought his jersey and poster the day they were made available. I knew early on how special he could be and I still wish him success once he gets this drama behind him.

I honestly don't give a baker's ****. Trade him to Russia for Maria Sharapova and three hookers.

That's ok, some how I am sure I will learn to live with it. I would usually agree with you, but I just want this jack*** out of the league.

I stopped caring about Howard's situation. It's back and forth and just generally too annoying to pay attention to. I agree with a previous post - not Brooklyn or LA. Send him to Sacramento or Toronto or anywhere that's going to make him irrelevant. But I'm tired of trying to keep up with it.

I don't care myself where he ends up. I'd prefer a west coast team so we don't have to hear much more of the daily bs that is in the news daily.

Trade him to Sacramento, if the Pacers were in the WC I'd say trade him to Milwaukee.

Eventually owners are going to need to take a stand against this sort of thing. I mean there was a report that he wanted the Lakers short term, Nets long term. It has really gotten to the point where the Lakers aren't seen as an adequate long term destination? Really? If its THAT bad something has to be done, and trading him to Sacramento sounds good to me.

No, no he couldn't. Chandler's still in the East, so's Noah, Miami will still have someone playing C.

At first I cared if he went to the Lakers, but now I really don't care. Lakers are more likely to get an extension with Bynum the longer this takes so that means less I care about Howard each and every single second.
Unless Bynum's agent hasn't read the new CBA, there's no way he signs an extension.

No max level player should ever sign one. It is is a financial detriment to agree to anything before their current deal expires.

It's why Deron Williams not agreeing to an extension with the Nets should have been a non-story. It's why Dwight saying he won't extend with the Lakers should be a non-story.

I care only in the sense that I'm an NBA fan and where he winds up will have a significant impact on the league for a number of years. That being said, I really don't care to hear another rumor or update or further speculation, and haven't for some time. Someone just tell me after he's actually been traded, and then I'll be interested to find out the details.

I'd love for Howard to get traded to the Rockets. The Pacers get involved and pick up one of the Rocket's PFs, whilst shipping Hans to Orlando.

    I live to dream.

While the process has been tedious, and frankly, stupid, I absolutely care where he winds up. He's arguably the second most valuable player in the league. His petulance does not change that.

I'm curious to see how he recovers from the back injury he has. I know he is young, but he had played the most games and minutes than any other center in the modern era. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/78...ss-rest-season Back injuries are tricky so one hopes he recovers completely.
