I predicted 8 national TV games and we got 7.

The whole team listens to him, and it makes my job a lot easier. Having players like him is what pro basketball is all about for me.” —Larry Brown

Does the entire nation really want to see the Knicks that much? Really?

nice that we get 11 nationally televised games, but absolutely sucks we play 41 road games...
That last part...was a joke, right?

I was surprised they have so many. Sure they are from the largest market, they have a national following, and they have a couple of stars on their team, but I don't expect them to win more than 45 games. Also they lost Lin, so that will hurt their overall appeal. I would have guessed maybe 18 appearances would have been about right.

Utah, Golden State, Portland and Minnesota all have more nationally televised games than the Pacers. Hmmm. Non playoff teams in smaller markets.

Probably as result of the large amount of games by Western Conf. Teams and the need to fill late time slots.

Exactly. There's only 8 teams (Lakers, Clippers, Warriors, Kings, Blazers, Jazz, Suns, and Nuggets) that can host a 10:30 national TV game, and there's a boatload of those on the schedule.
