JUst saw that they have cut him. Does anyone think he be an interesting pick-up for the right price?

    No Thanks.

Not really. Mahimni and Plumlee seem ready to do all the things he can do. Without the baggage. Plus they are younger and should be getting better. Birdman is a finished product and starting to age.

Never. He has an even worse drug history than Brandon Rush. Birdman is probably as risky a player as there is in the NBA.

No - the FO has worked hard to get rid of troubled souls from this team - no need to add one now.

Might as well sign Jerry Sandusky.

He will not be signed by anyone this summer... He's currently being investigated for child pornography...

I forgot about the child pornography thing. I agree stay as far as we can from this guy now that I remember that. Maybe him and Sandusky can be room mates.

Someone refresh my memory. Was the child porn charge having child porn in his posession or was it committing a sexual crime with a child? If it's just having child porn in his posession, it's not even close to what Sandusky did. I'm not saying child porn is right, it's not, I'm just saying the comparisons aren't the same if Anderson isn't involved sexually with a child/children.

On the matter of signing Anderson... pass as he doesn't have the same ability of play as he had a few years ago. No reason when Walsh just gave Mahinmi a 4 year guaranteed contract.

I thought it had something to do with dating a young girl who lied about her age and tried to exploit him?

Yes, the child porn thing seems to be non-issue. The heroin thing, not so much. But most importantly, he's just not very good now.

His house got raided and computers seized. Someone in his house was involved with child pornography.

That vaguely sounds familiar. No where remotely close to Sandusky's transgressions. I feel badly for those boys, but my heart goes out to Sandusky's wife. The pain, agony, anger she is having to deal with has to be almost unbearable. Her world came crumbling down around her.

I think he'd be a better fit on a veteran team like the Celtics, Heat, or Lakers. We've already got our third string center in Plumlee.

The only thing I like about him are his tattoos. His game is awful.

I was a fan, he was a pretty good backup a few years ago. He's just not what he used to be.
