Carlisle apparently liked him in Dallas. No idea what happened with his departure there.
A Gerald Green fan who now finds himself rooting for the Suns.
There's a lot of Pritch-slapping going on these past few hours....
I like this acquisition. Unfortunately, our other moves have made me otherwise apathetic.
I'll refrain from saying how I truly feel about Gerald Green as a Pacer.
I was actually was planning on going to bed happy tonight before I checked PD. Now I think I should take a Ace Ventura shower and chew a wad of gum to get this taste out of my mouth.
I remember in the 2005 draft when it came to the 17th pick and the Pacers were lucky enough to have BOTH Granger and Green to choose from.....now....7 years later...we have both.

People can dislike him for personal reasons, but read this article before you do, and look at how he has acted since being back in the league. He doesn't force the issue as much, he is more open to coaching and doing whatever it takes to stick.
I know there is a lot of hate on Gerald Green right now, but I love this signing. I think he fits better than either Mayo or Lee.
Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you
I guess I missed this. If we got Green and Augustin, I won't hate the Collison trade as much.
That trade was the first thing I saw and it made no sense to me.
We definitely need another point guard behind Hill though.
Well imbtyler must be happy...
But seriously great signing. 3.3 million a year is way better than OJ Mayo/Lee who I doubt will be that much better. I'll miss Dahntay Jones, but Green looks like a guy who can help prevent our bench from going on those annoying dry spells...
Btw how did he shoot 48% last season?? That's crazy good.
I've always liked his game and I'm pleased with the signing. Knowing he was absent from the league for 3 years, it could be a new beginning for him after he turned heads in regular season games with the Nets last season.
He's still only 26 and I've always felt he'd make his way back in the league as a serviceable wingman one way or another.
For what we're bringing him in for, this is a nice signing. 3 years/$10M.
