Vecsey has been walsh's mouthpiece for years on leaked news. Kind of like polian and mortensen. I am sure it is true.

Gerald Green + Paul George = Showtime Pacers?
Does someone in the Pacers front office thinking leaping ability = good at basketball? Ugh.
Green is 6'8". That is more like SG size these days. Mayo is a head case and, I believe he is 6'4" and he thinks he is a point guard.
Warmups will be fun. Downhill after that.

Pacers r expected to offer Gerald Green a 3-yr, $10 million contract
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.
$3.3M per's not bad at all, imo.
Let me get this straight.
Let Lou and Barbosa go
We can sign Hibbert cheaper than the max because the Blazers backed off of offering the Max
AND WE STILL DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO SIGN MAYO ?
Here's what should have been done.
Draft Perry Jones.
Sign Hibbert to a non max contract.
Trade Jones for Cash. Or trade Jones and Collison for DJ if it was necessary for Cash.
Would have had Mayo, P Jones and maybe DJ -Collison&Jones instead we got Mahinmi, Green and DJ and lost Collision, Jones, prob Hansbrough .

Peter Vecsey reports Wednesday night that Gerald Green is leaving the Nets for the Indiana Pacers. Green had said during the season that he would take less money to stay with the Nets, but Brooklyn could only offer him a deal starting at $1.2 million.
looks like we got him i doubt he is gonna accept 1.2 million when we are offering 10 mil
Pritchard is living up to his reputation as a wheeler and dealer.

Gerald Green has agreed to terms with the Indiana Pacers.

Terms aren't too bad.
So...we traded away Dahntay Jones contract to get Gerald Green at basically the same contract but longer? I don't see the point.
Well I guess 3.3 for 3 years isn't bad. Except it's Gerald Green.
Okay I really like getting Green. He shot almost 40% from 3 and is athletic as hell. For $10m over 3 years that's a great deal.
This is a great pick-up and good deal. He could quickly become our sixth man if he keeps his momentum going from last season.
Not a bad player to have if you get Augustin, DJ should be able to get him easy baskets.
