Also of note I read a piece on McGary the other day it stated the reason he has been better of late is he went on a diet and conditioning program.

Age 19 vs age 23 would seem to make a big difference.

Dunno, I like him as a prospect. Good combo of size and mobility in a big man. Still very raw of course but could see him becoming a very good defender down the road.
I am with you on Adams'
I would not overlook this young player. He is very strong for his age and only will get better. He is stronger than Plumlee already and probably a better rebounder.

I agree the need for an experienced b/u PG, but it does not mean you don't have a need at PG for the future... b/u or otherwise.
There is a need for a b/u PG but I don't believe that the draft can fix it

We are reading the same book, but are on different pages.

I agree the Pacers need a b/u PG next year with experience, but if a good PG is available you draft him for the future. Lets face it, Ben Hanbro isn't much of a 3rd PG who could be replaced by a good rookie PG prospect for the future. He can develop same as Miles, only hopefully quicker.

Oh, if you're talking about a 3rd string prospect PG then sure

I've lost track this year as to whether the Pacers have their 2nd rd pick in the 013 draft?

What teams have multiple picks in the 013 1st round and 2nd rd?

According to all mock drafts, we have our 2nd rd pick.

Any Player in the Final Four that looks like a decent Player that could drop to the mid-20s?

Seems to me that drafting a player who looked good in the Final Four but wasn't previously on the radar screen isn't a move with high percentages of success. Players looking good who WERE already on lists will only move up.

And Burke wins the Wooden Award. Pacers need to draft him if he is available for a trade or something in that nature

Dieng's been a fringe first rounder pretty much all season, not like he's come out of complete nowhere

I know. But a good run should solidify a lottery pick, imo.

It's too bad that teams are going to pass on him because he is a senior.

Hope we can snag Nate Wolters with the 2nd round pick. Did an impressive job against Burke defensively in their first round game, and should be able to score at the NBA level. I have read a few articles about his tireless work ethic that is sure to turn him into an above average 3pt shooter.

Excluding height, that is the vibe I get from watching Chane Behanan play as a big man. Relentless. Give him a few years in the weight room and he could be Antonio 2.0. Maybe mixed with a little David West.

This, of course, hoping he falls to a solid team with solid veterans and a solid coaching staff. I wouldn't complain about spending a late 1st on him. I'm sure many would disagree.

There were a few times he reminded me of Brad Miller, in his ability to play a high post and some of his passing, but not Davis so much.

Not all that high on him. He gets a lot of his points in transition going 1 on 3, which won't work to well in the NBA. Doesn't shoot that well. Will get pushed around by bigger guards just like DJ does.
