I'm intrigued by Andrey Desyatnikov. Born in 1994 and already approaching 7'3. I don't know if he's going to get a lot of PT but I'm looking forward to it.
He is only 220lbs lol. I hope he doesn't break in two. He is young though should bulk up. I will watch him play vs China tomorrow. He looks crazy raw, last year in the 18s European event he didn't play much at all. I have never watched him, but that is why I love the U18s and 19s normally my first look at a prospect.

Yeah, they're great events. He didn't play last year, that's right. I hope that he gets PT now. I didn't know that he was only 220 lbs. Still heavier than Noel or Pelle

Spain vs Canada coming down to the wire. I like how Spain is defending Lyles now. Lyles motor needs to get better surprised by how casual he is playing in such a big event. I really don't like his defensive effort. Dante Exum killed Nigeria no surprise there.

The way Spain moves the ball is a thing of beauty they broke it open here in the 4th up 13. Damn when you play basketball like they do it is one beautiful game. Their guard play is simply fantastic.

Classic Spain. Most of their NTs have beautiful ball movement.

I want to watch Iran - Argentina, Czech Republic - Lithuania and China - Russia.

I am very eager to watch Gabriel Deck live. He has an incredible feel for the game. He is undersized for a PF but he has an excellent skill set. Plus, the Iranian bigs tend to be strong so we will see how Deck will fair against strong opponents.

The match between the Czech Republic and Lithuania will be interesting for two reasons. Lithuania is a country that loves basketball and its players are always fun to watch while the Czechs have a 6'8 SG.

China vs Russia will be the match of the giants. Russia's 7'3 Desyatnikov will go up against China's 7'1 Qi Zhou. If they get enough PT, it will be fun

Of course they do...bc they draft good players. The spurs just get it (understatement of the year)
More than that they draft players that fit well into their system, and that is why they are so successful.

    Per RealGM:

    http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap...BA-Immediately

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most intriguing players in the draft, but he reportedly does not want to return to Greece next season and wants to immediately play in the NBA.

Antetokounmpo is a few seasons away from being ready for NBA-level competition and would be drawing a high rookie salary while mainly playing in the D-League and as a reserve.

Teams in the lottery have been considering drafting Antetokounmpo and stashing him abroad while he develops.
That could be reaaaaaaally interesting for us

A Few Draft AM Tidbits from another site:

Niki Bakouli: (1/2) Antetokounmpo @Giannis Antetokoumpo may have flown to NY for tonights' #NBA draft, but the latest info that we are receiving today are not good. A promise that was given to the player (@Giannis Antetokoumpo) by a team that is picking somewhere on the 20s, is no longer on the table Twitter @Eurohoopsnet

I think it is actually a bad thing, basically he would be taking up a spot on the roster, and would get no PT, while adding to the cap.

    Dennis Schroeder
    Indiana Pacers
    COUNTRY: Germany
    AGE: 19
    HT: 6-2
    WT: 165
    POS: PG

Analysis: The Pacers are looking at point guards and bigs. If Schroeder falls, he seems like a no-brainer to the Pacers. He's long, young and athletic and can really get to the basket. He won't be ready to contribute for Indiana now, but in the long term, he could be their best pick here.

One thing about Chad Ford is that his early mocks are way off, but by draft day he gets a lot closer to being accurate (esp a couple of hours before the draft).

When was the last time there was this much uncertainty about the top pick? '07? And I can't recall the last time a guy could go either 1st or 5th.

I will put it this way, I doubt he would be a backup, Gerald Green would probably contribute more than him next season...

Mason is actually a legit NBA prospect though, unlike Miles... Very similar to comparing Luke Zeller to either Tyler or Cody.

Dario Saric posted an impressive line against South Korea in the U19 Championships. 32 points on 13/19 shooting (2/4 from 3, 4/7 from the FT line), 12 rebounds (4 offensive, 8 defensive) and 12 assists.

Mislav Brzoja, a 6'5 SG, also contributed 21 points on 8/14 shooting (1/3 from 3, 4/4 from the line), 10 rebounds and 3 assists.

Ivan Bender, a 6'9 C born in '95, scored 21 points on 10/13 shooting, grabbed 4 rebounds and had 3 assists in 23 minutes.

South Korea was led by Sangjae Kang, a 6'8 PF, that scored 35 points on 14/19 shooting.

It doesn't seem like a lot of defense was played in this game. Croatia won 109 - 86.

On the other hand, Senegal shot 23.8% against Australia earlier today. Yes, they shot below 25%. I don't know how that's possible.

Stefan Pot, a 6'5 PG, had an interesting game against Brazil. He only shot 2/7 from the field but scored managed to go to the line 8 times and convert on 5 of his FTs in order to score 9 points. But he grabbed 13 rebounds (2 offensive, 11 defensive), dished 5 assists and also had 5 steals to boot. I'll keep an eye on him to see if this was a fluke or not.

Lithuania - Czech Republic and China - Russia are on right now. Lithuania and Czech Republic are tied at 42 at the half. China is ahead 33 to 27 against Russia. China's Zhou Qi already has 13 points (on 5/8 shooting), 9 rebounds, 5 blocks and 1 assist. Desyatnikov has not played yet.

I'm still trying to find a way to watch those games

Fords got a 2nd round mock now.

    53: Jackie Carmichael

I think we can agree that that would be a best case scenario!

    Other notables:
Tony Mitchel at 42 (would be a great pickup this low)
Livio Jean-Charles 45 (would like this kid)
    Myck Kabongo 48
Ray McCallum 51 (meh, but I think the Pacers like him)
With the #3 pick in the 2015 draft, your Indiana Pacers!
