Singler looks so much better than he did at Duke (I didnt think he was NBA material coming out). That year over seas really helped him develop his body he moves much better than I remember on defense. I now think he can actually play some 3 in the NBA now and is tougher. He impressed me in the few games I caught of his last year.

Maybe Duke really does hinder showing athletic ability lol na? But Singler just moves like I never though he would be able to hard work in the gym.

I am looking forward to seeing the Lance show, Pendergraph as well as getting a taste of what the rookies have to offer. I love summer league because baseball bores me to death and there are no other sports right now. Its nice that The players can actually work with the coaches , unlike last summer.

Singler turned me into a real Madrid fan last year. He was doing this just about ever game for them.

Andre Drummond has 2 air balls from the foul line, two made step back jumpers from the midrange, and a dunk to make up his 6-point SL debut.
29.5% from the line at UConn. I can't recall ever seeing a worse free throw shooter.

Eric snow was much worse at Michigan state. His freshman year he shot %20. It took him 3 years to get above %29.

I don't think it's a problem if you move your feet like the Dream on defense no joke Drummond moves like a guard on defense. He needs to work on some things on defense but naturally he is pretty good just based on how he moves. He would be a big man coaches dream.

and yes Real Madrid was fun to watch last year starting with Ibaka playing the first few games all the way though the season. Mirotic, Singler and their guards were a must watch(especially their pg his name I am forgetting for some reason ).

Yeah drummonds defense was jaw dropping today. Made plays at the rim and 30 feet from the hoop.

He made last year's #3 pick enes kanter look like a little kid.

About Plumlee. He is a big body. A mediocre big body.

OJ is ice cold tonight, but I like him, don't know why...Stephenson got to learn some freethrows and his 3 was off at the beginning. Plumlee isnt a good lowpost scorer yet. A lot of fouls and turnovers with a low shootingpercentage from both teams. Like Holidays brother on the other team, but the Hansbrough brother is dribbling too much for my taste.

Okay...best play of the game: Lance Stephenson drive and spinmove to the basket and a nice pass to Plumlee at the end, who dunks it! Stephenson had an alley oop before.

All things considered, a successful summer league game.

Olando Johnson looks like a guy that can play now. Miles Plumlee looks like he can play. Got some work to do, but he looks like an NBA player.

I do feel sorry for lance. He looks like an NBA player playing summer league. Trying to dial it down and do what he's supposed to. Nice to see him get the PG minutes. If he can play the point, all is good.

    Nice W...
Stephenson can make some pretty plays with the ball in his hand but is best in the open court. His 3pt shot is still not that good. I like him as a point and not at shooting guard.
Orlando Johnson is a player!!! He hasnt the best shot selection and tries a lot one on one, but he can create his own shot and made some good baskets at the end when it counted. I like his aggressiveness. When he didnt hit a shot at the beginning, he started going to the baskets drawing some fouls, that's what good scorers do. I liked his defense.
Miles Plumlee did what he was supposed to do. He got a lot of boards and tried to alter shots at the basket. He hit some shots, but his offensive game is rough especially in the post. Looked solid out there and not lost.
I was disappointed with Pendergraph...he did nothing but fouling. Not impressive...Josh McRoberts is better than him^^.
I didnt took a closer look at the other players, cause they probably wont get a shot for us.
Player of the meaningless game: Orlando Johnson ... good night folks!

Here is a link to all the known rosters so far in Vegas and ORL http://secretrival.blogspot.com/2012....html?spref=tw

talk about overreaction on OJ one guy says he sucks after watching him for 5 mintues this dude calls him Dwade

    http://www.aintnopacerhater.com/2012...iscent-of.html

I guess the name of the blog is spot on I probably would of went with "PacersBiggestHomer.com" instead.

I dont get guys judging people after seeing him play one time LOL

    for EX:
It's not all positive though. He didn't knock down threes consistently enough (although his release looked pure). He didn't shoot free throws well enough. It is difficult to find too many negatives, though.
that is just based on one game if you watch the guy in college he was one of the best shooters in the draft especially one of the best shooters while guarded. He is right though bad FT shooter for such a good shooter just like Brandon Rush was. It could of just been he had a off shooting night and is a rookie the overreaction of summer league is just so LOL

    Fran Fraschilla ‏@franfraschilla
@nbadraftblog NBA Summer league performance & stats can skewed if your team doesn't have a pass-first PG, even if that guy doesn't make team
    Expand

    3h Ed Isaacson ‏@nbadraftblog
People are going way overboard analyzing player performances in 1 summer league game. Next we will start getting play diagrams lol

I agree completely with Fran not so much pass first but just a pg who can play and run the offense (which IMO we don't have)

OJ and Plumlee will be much more efficient with a real pg. OJ isnt gonna have to over dribble when he has real NBA pgs.

and the draft blog guy is 100% right also it's just ridiculous what some people say after watching a kid for his first game that they had never seen before.

Didn't see the game. Think Burke (the strength coach, right?) is coaching so they run fewer sets and more streetball/guard-oriented?

Burke's a regular assistant coach. Supposed to be more of a scouting/preperation guy. The strength coach is Shawn Windle (this season's NBA strength and conditioning coach of the year).
