Default Jameer Nelson is opting out.

I wouldn't mind getting him, he is small but knows how to play, 4 and 20mil?

Ugh, no, he's no better than DC or Hill.

Will Orlando have enough capspace to go after Deron Williams if they renounce Nelson?

I believe Orlando is WAY over the cap if I remember.

Definitely a real possibility for the Pacers. If Bird was still in charge he would be a Pacers come Sunday morning.

He's not significantly better than our current point guards.

Nope, our guys are young and still have the potential to be better. Hill's defensive game is beyond Nelson's already, and Collison is right there with him. If Indiana wants to spend on a FA, it better make a significant difference. Like West for example.

No he wouldn't. Can't sign contracts until the 10th.

Orlando should clear house. If I were the GM, I'd hire Brian Shaw and trade or dump as many players not named Earl Clark as possible.

I actually like him as a starter more than Hill, but then again, on a contending team...I think Hill would be one of the first players off the bench. So I like him in that he could potentially regulate Hill to the bench is I guess what I'm saying.

No he is 30 and giving him a 4 year deal is too long. I would rather keep Collison and Hill. He is not an upgrade over either of them.

I don't think hes better than Hill or DC at this point in his career. I'd rather roll with our boys.
