Did we ever find out what the Pacers' offer was to Roy?

With all of these smoke signals coming out....some potentially true and some false.....with the apparent lack of interest in signing Hibbert to a MAX contract....I can totally see the Front office looking at the Stats that both Kaman and Hibbert put up and think to themselves, "Why pay $3 to 4 mil a year for a Center that isn't that doesn't produce as much?"

I highly doubt the FO is looking at stats on Kaman. Donnie and Pritchard probably both have a good handle on Kaman already but he will be cheaper and he doesn't have the asthma issue that limits Roy to only 30 minutes a game.

With the personality of everything thus far, it is kinda hard to believe, huh? Almost like Walsh is a nice sit-in piece while Larry pulls the strings from wherever he is.

    ...and another domino falls.

BTW, I'm fairly certain "future lottery pick" is not a part of NBA trade language.

Marc J. Spears@SpearsNBAYahoo Source tells Y! that while Chauncey Billups 1-year deal with Clippers is agreed upon, Jamal Crawford's is in the final stages of completion.

So glad that chucker is going to the Clippers, but that pretty much opens the door for Nick Young to be with his boy here in Indy. He is a chucker as well.

So does this mean Houston is going to have to go all in for Jeremy Lin? Who else is left to play point guard for them?

OJ Mayo is a GREAT basketball player. He was not used properly in Memphis the last 2 years but with him Danny and PG it will be great. 32 min each a night and they should all perform extremely well. I wouldn't be surprised if he takes over the starting point guard position sometime next year if we get him

Darn there goes Felton and Lowry. It will be interesting to see what Felton signed for with the Knicks, and what the Lowry trade was.

Raptors have no reason to keep Calderon now. He's an expiring, so maybe they can find a taker.

Supposedly some sort of reverse lottery protection. I'm guessing they get the pick the next time they are in the lottery?

So, both Dragic and Lowry are out in Houston, and the sea of free agent point guards is quickly drying up. Is it expected that New York wont match Jeremy Lin, or is there some other option available?

I'm saying that I think that the FO would much rather save $3-4 mil in Cap room and go with a downgrade at the Center spot than use it towards ( what they perceive ) a Center that they think isn't that much better.

I can totally see them thinking that Hibbert maybe younger but doesn't have enough upside to think that he'd be any significantly better than Kaman.

The reason somebody posted Kaman's stats from four years ago is probably that was back when Kaman was a good rebounder, back when he was 25. His 7.0 and 7.7 rebounds per game the past two years don't look so good, nor does his decline in shooting percentage over the last four years -- .525 to .490 to .471 to .446 last season.
