There could be a David Decker out there that is Donnie Walsh's grandson or Pritchard's nephew. Heck, Larry Bird's driver was the source on the Barbosa deal hours before any of the press caught on.

Btw, I don't think David Decker is one of those guys.
The team was losing millions, and yet Bird had a driver? I'm not sure what to make of that.

@PeterVecsey1: Sources confirm 76ers have traded for a starting (not in Philly, he won't) small small forward. Announcement tomorrow.

@PeterVecsey1: I can tell you it's not Metta. Unkind to name SF because he hasn't been told yet.

Pretty sure Bird has enough money he could have paid out of his own pocket for a driver...

If Bynum went to Houston, they could be REALLY good.
They could be, but at this point their perimeter consists of Shaun Livingston (unguaranteed), Toney Douglas, Kevin Martin, Gary Forbes, and Chandler Parsons. That's it. Bynum or no Bynum, addressing that is going to be a project.

I understand that. I'm just betting the team paid for it.

Mike Wells was on Dakich today and said that Mayo's asking price is a little too high for the Pacers. Said he would be shocked if mayo ended up in a Pacers uniform.

I didnt see this anywhere, just listened to Wells on Dakich show this morning, he says he's hearing the Pacers think Mayo is asking too much and will be out of their price range, Wells didn't think there was anyway that Mayo was coming here now. Im paraphrasing from memory, so feel free to check yourselves.

i know, that's my slim hope that he's wrong on this as well

It really doesn't belong here, but whatever.

If the Colts don't sell out their home games they're blacking them out, despite only needing to sell 85% to meet the NFL requirement.

This is going to be a Pacer state again very quickly.

Good! (No ill-will towards the Colts intended)

and Jeremy Lamb, he'd be a pretty good fit on a team with a dominant center.

But I guess we'll have to wait and see. Martin's expiring, Parsons and Lamb could all easily be in that trade, they are among the Rockets' best assets.

A 6th man should make the MLE.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

He also said we wouldn't be picking at #26. Not the greatest of track records.

Maybe, but when the 6th man plays starter min's, leads the team in scoring, & is arguably his teams best closer, you could argue he is worth more, & as started a very good value @ the MLE.

He also finished second in Sixth Man of the Year voting. Lou Williams can do every single thing Monta Ellis can do except consistently be a loser.

Now I know I give vnzla **** for Monta, but Lou Williams is not near the player Monta Ellis is.
