Knicks fans are going apeshit. Schadenfreude isn't usually something I'm a fan of, but in this case...

For once, I think the Knicks management has the right idea. Lin is a flash in the pan. Once teams get enough video on him to adjust their gameplans, he's done.

I don't think the Knicks will be that good. 6 or 7 seed. Seems like they just threw a team together without a plan

Not entirely I don't think. They might have to throw a lot pieces on the team into the deal, but I think they could still land him.

    Surprising.
I have to wonder if Lin wasn't better off taking a smaller deal from the Knicks, maintaining this "Knicks savior" wonderboy legend as long as he can and absorbing the endorsement deals.

To be honest, with the higher cost of Lakers tickets, Keystone Light may be all that they can afford.

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

You are 100% correct. The Pacers' major deficiency in that series was the bench production which has been addressed.
Yes, although I have to admit that maybe another problem would have to be the players getting over cocky after they got in that 2-1 lead. If they could have just pushed on and played how they were for the rest of the series, we could have seen the hardware come home to Indy last year.

The starters did until Granger got hurt. I'd say they even came out stronger and crisper. And don't forget that one of those wins was with Lou and Tyler not playing at all in the second half. Not a coincidence.

Keep in mind Chris Bosh played one half of that series. Heat probably win in 5 with him.

I agree with you, but whereas the starters came out stronger, it seemed our bench just said " meh, screw it" which is why I'm very optimistic about this year. I would not be suprised whatsoever to see them in the finals... Look at our bench now, Lou was NOT a center by any standard, and Tyler got too emotionally involved for his own good. Augustin (I'm proud that I no longer put an E on his name) also will have a lot to prove to get a better contract, which makes me think he will give out more than DC. I'm super excited.

I would almost feel sorry for Knicks fans...if they weren't Knicks fans.

This would be the equivalent of the Pacers letting Hibbert walk.

Not even close. They're nowhere near one another in their importance to on court team success.

Strongly disagree. The Pacers without Hibbert would be worse than the Knicks sans Lin.

maybe not on the court wise, but off the court wise i think its pretty similar. Lin is loved by knicks fans like Roy is loved by Pacers fans.

That's what I'm saying. We let Roy walk we're like a 6 seed at best. They let Lin walk I don't think they're much different at all.

I know that Bosh only played 16 minutes in just the first half of game one, but the Pacers were up 3 after the 1st & 6 at halftime.
