Too bad for me these games are simultaneous now. Could only watch the Czech/Poland game and they gave up the info on Greece/Russia and I could only watch stoppage time without knowing what happened. Stupid fun wedding with free beer I had to go to...

Nuntius, I apologize in advance for anything I say about Greece during the Greece v Germany game if Germany wins the group, I am of German heritage so I am rooting for them

It's ok. As long as it doesn't devolve to racial slurs I don't really care

Holy crap. These 2 games have been ridiculously entertaining. For a moment there at the end, it was a real possibility that Germany may not make the next round if Denmark was able to score. Nuts. And Ronaldo woke up.

I thought Holland-Portugal was entertaining until Portugal scored the equalizer. Then the Dutch just threw the towel and it got boring.

I'm not sure what to make of Germany. But, man when they turn it on they are very good.

I'm not sure what to make of them either. Typical efficient Germany with their 9 points from a possible 9, but then they were the width of a post away from being down 2-1 to Denmark and out of the tournament.

I hate them, but i honestly still can't see past Spain for this tournament.

Can we just get a standing ovation for this tournament? I just love it so much more than the World Cup. Literally every team can win. And I wouldn't be surprised by France, UK, Portugal, Germany, Italy, or Spain winning.

Oh this has been incredibly more entertaining than the World Cup (though if they added some S. American teams and the US to the mix, that'd be even more epic).

I don't think England has what it takes to win. Once they play Spain they're finished, if they make it that far. And I'm really looking forward to the Portugal-Germany rematch (let's face it, they're probably going to meet up...)

Man, Xavi Hernandez and Casillas look in a ZONE right now during the Spanish national anthem. I hope to see a good game out of them

Spain Croatia has bored the crap out of me. Yipes. Croatia's defense was terrific for most of the match, until the end. Spain was actually threatened to not move on if Croatia had scored.

    Spain and Italy go on.

Modric's beautiful cross deserved to be scored, not really impressed with how Spain played, though Croatia forced them into that style. Not surprised by Italy's performance.

I have gotten all 6 teams right but only Spain/Italy right when it comes to where they finish in their group. I think it stops today because I have England and Ukraine advancing and I don't think that's even possible.

I had France and Ukraine advancing (and correctly predicted groups B and C, also, not necessarily the seeding though) so I hope that the Ukraine beats England!

France was closer. They shouldn't have been through anyway, Ukraine scored. Shame to see them eliminated on a bad call.

Ukraine's goal shouldn't have counted anyway, they were offside, so I don't feel that bad about it.

France looks disappointing, and now they have to play Spain. England wasn't that great either. Honestly, Ukraine outplayed them. I think Italy has a great chance of moving past England.

I feel like both of group B and group C teams are going to win their games this week.

France played an awful game. Only positive is they can hardly play worse against Spain.

After the end of the group stage, Germany looks to me like the best team, with Spain second. All the other teams are way below these two.

Don't sleep on Portugal. If they continue to play like they have, I think they are good enough to make some noise.
