    regular season stats:

    http://www.nbastuffer.com/2011-2012_...ree_Stats.html

Mauer: 69th among 91 refs in fouls called per game

Mark Davis: tied for 55th among 91 refs in fouls called per game

Scott Foster: tied for 5th among 91 refs in fouls called per game

Foster calls a lot of fouls but few technicals
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

Yep. Our guys will be in serious foul trouble by halfway through the first quarter.

I typically don't mind Foster as much. He isn't an "emotional" ref, meaning he calls what he sees.

Ken Mauer sucks. Wildly inconsistent. Emotional. Ugh.

    Mark Davis I'm indifferent on.

A question I have always had is whether the ref team assigns certain guys to watch for certain things or if everyone is supposed to be watching everything? I'm more thinking that each guy is watching certain areas of the floor (not certain players or for certain infractions).

I was hoping for Joey C but he did the Philly game last night. Maybe the Pacers could catch for game 7, that would be a nice break.

His no-BS attitude worked well for the last Pacers/Heat game he did. I thought he ignored many of the Heat flops and you know his rep for not putting up with whining.

This was recently brought to my attention about Ken Mauer:

    He goes technical crazy.
