We were doing the same thing in Area 55 and then saw lance doing it. I see nothing wrong with it. And furthermore the people who say "Lance was on the bench, he has no rite to do that." (Kravitz) So if danny had done it it would be cool? Thats like saying we won the title but, sorry Lance, Jeff, Fez You guys don't play so we aren't going to give you a ring.
He got off the bench after that!

    13th man vs. the man

"The man" could back it up. The 13th man can just watch.

He does have good form though. the left hand finger placement is just a little off.
He has had plenty of practice.

I really think this is no big deal. Looks to me like he is making it to his teammates as they come to the bench, not to LeBron, certainly not in LeBron's face. Mountain out of a molehill.

This would be a great "Report Card" topic on PTI. Grade Lance Stephenson giving LeBron James the CHOKE sign on the Pacers bench last night.

And just as I say that, Blackistone rips him for it in the final segment of Around The Horn.

It's not an ideal reaction that's for sure, but come on what's the big deal? I mean Wade put a strong safety type hit on DC in game 2 and we're a little worked up cause Lance flashed a choke sign to a guy who's career legacy is quickly becoming the basketball equivalent of erectile dysfunction. If anything it shows the lack of respect for Lebron, and why comparing him to MJ or Kobe is absurd, could you imagine a young player ever having the balls to flash a choke sign to MJ or Kobe? Other players just don't fear Lebron, maybe they should, but they don't, he doesn't command that respect, and that speaks to what kind of legacy he will leave behind.

If anything, I'd pull Lance aside and just say hey, maybe don't do that again, if I was Vogel, but then I'd pat him on the back and say it was funny as **** though.

We don't like them, they don't like us. They don't respect us, so we don't respect them. I love it.
I'm all for good sportsmanship, but when LeBron & Co started talking before this series about us "not giving them much trouble," and all but dismissing us, what you said is spot on. If they don't want to respect us, we will make them. We are clearly the aggressors in this series, and it's clearly under Miami's skin.

    Keep it up, Pacers. #GoldSwagger

I'm tired of our team having to act like the small children of the league... To be seen, not heard. Screw how the nat'l sports media wants to run with this. All they want is positive drama for the Heat or to give them some bulletin board material.

Amazing. Pacers up 2-1 on arguably the favorite to win the championship and the best the media can do is this and "Danny Granger - Thug"?

We don't need to give the Heat any extra motivation, sometimes it's best to let a sleeping dog lie. However, at the end of the day, does LeBron really care what our 14th man thinks?

Don't do it again, but keep encouraging your teammates again.

Well, maybe if Lebron didn't have a history of choking, Lance wouldn't have done it.

Lance was not the only one doing the choke sign, could it be possible that he got it from his coach?

@Indyvnzla81: @eddiewhite3 I'm watching last night game again and it looks like Lance was not the only one making the shoking sign http://t.co/mnKZWyLr

Lance was just pulling a Stacey King there, he was so overjoyed! "Let me step back, and hug myself!" It wasn't a choke sign at all. It was a self hug.
