Luck loves going to his tight ends...well, we got the two best TEs in the draft. I like it. I love giving him options and we have a few years before WR becomes a huge need. I wouldn't have minded Massie at that point to shore up protection for Luck, but I can't complain about that.
Agree. I think I would rather see the Colts take Massie but I don't know a ton about him either and i'm sure the Colts did their homework on these guys.

I think Allen will be a nice TE. I like that the Colts have a couple of threats at TE. The WRs are solid.

I am surprised that the defense hasn't been addressed but that should come soon.

All I gotta say is the Colts must be pretty damned sure that Luck will be able to get rid of the ball quick.

I would just about have to believe that Massie finally goes to the 'Skins here.

Well the TEs have to block, and I feel Allen is a better blocker than Fleener.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

This draft is about developing Luck and making sure he has weapons and stays healthy. We are going to again let the D suck as usual and address the D next season. I guess the FO thinks they can't fix both in one draft and might as well really fix the offense and not do a half-*** job on both sides of the ball

I do think it's kinda crazy that we got the top 2 rated TEs in the entire draft. No one else selects a TE for 60+ picks? If Indy was truly targetting TEs in this draft, they gotta be ecstatic.

Reggie Wayne, Donnie Avery, Austin Collie...yes solid. Especially when you consider that having pass catching TEs like Fleener/Allen helps and that the Colts are likely to run the ball a lot. I'm not as worried about the WR position as I am about other positions on the roster.

There must be something about Massie that the teams know that nobody else does. A guy his size who helped his team give up the fewest sacks in the SEC should have been long gone by now.

After a moment to back up and look at it, I am good with the Allen pick.

We can run out of 2 TE sets, and we're a pretty big threat to pass out of it too now.

Allen was the 55th ranked draft prospect. We got him at 64... so... can't argue the value.

Cut him some slack, he's new to this. At least he tells it as it is and doesn't hide behind a veil of secrecy like Mr. BP.

Yeah he doesn't give good interviews. I was hoping to hear him talk more about the TEs especially Allen.

Me only calling him awkward was cutting him slack.

After listening to his interview, I like him even more. Very well spoken, humble guy who is going to work his *** off to prove everyone wrong and be a leader.

There are still going to be good players available at the top of the 4th. This draft is crazy.
