Sweet! That's awesome. I was at the game where he was inducted into the Ring of Honor (that was honestly the highlight of the season) and the guy looked so genuinely pleased to be back in Indy. I remember using the restroom (where they have the radio playing) and Marvin was being interviewed by Lamey. Lamey asked Marvin if he had thought about the HOF and Marvin said he hadn't given it much thought and that simply being remembered as a Colt for life was good enough for him.

    Marvin managed many marvelous moments.

Glad he got a Super Bowl championship to round out his career. It's a shame he didn't get a proper farewell season, but I always expected Marvin would be the type to just up and retire out of the blue rather than make a big deal out of it anyway. So even without the injury and contract issue there probably wouldn't have been a final farewell season for Marvin.
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

I'm glad he won that Super Bowl while he was still an elite player. 06 Marvin was still arguably the best receiver in the league. That 07 injury unfortunately ended his career a couple years too early.

That two point conversion catch against New England in the AFC Championship was just incredible.

Something about that whole saga just doesn't pass the smell test for me. (Remember when the initial report was that Marvin was involved in a running gunbattle on a HIGHWAY?) Besides, that guy had a lot of enemies, not just Marvin.
