Anybody else get the feeling that the lack of fan support has been a galvanizing force for these guys? I just get the sense that there's a real sense of playing for each other and 'us against the world' mentality to be incredibly cliche.
Frank is a master motivator. He truly believes in this team and what they can accomplish. I can't wait to see them make noise in the postseason. I just hope Conseco has a full house.

I'll probably get tired of pointing that out next year.

    I highly doubt it!

Dunleavy is complaining that the fight prolonged the game and that they could have gotten out of here a lot sooner. lol

Love the win, but the chippiness could cost the Pacers. If refs decide to camp on the Pacers smashmouth BB, it could really cause the Pacers a problem trying to be physical. Fouls being called quickly to make sure the game doesn't get out of hand. It could hurt the Pacers play in the playoffs.
Agreed. But I think that our team handled it well. They kept their cool despite being chippy. You can tell that they are playing hard but they are not there to kill anyone. Refs can usually respect that.

I like that David West had 7 assists and that wasn't our assist-high for the game.

That went to George Hill, who had an incredibly efficient 22/8/5 game.

Sad for JO the Celtics waived him, maybe next year if we're looking for some cheap depth we can bring him back. Say what you will about JO but he is one repentent SOB when it comes to how things went down while he was here and even talked David West into coming to Indy and has only had good things to say about our team.

The starting unit just seems to dominate teams with George Hill starting but the bench lately has left me wanting to gouge my eyes out.

Atlanta can tie us and I think they have the tiebreaker.

It's not Boston that could still take it, it's Atlanta - they are closer to us despite the fact that Boston is seeded higher.

I mean, it's a formality, we're clearly going to clinch the 3rd seed. I'm just pointing out that we haven't, officially, yet.

Whose the black commentator for the Bucks? He's blaming the Pacers for the fight and saying he understands why the Bucks would be upset but the Pacers were winning and they should have took it lying down.
I listened to the Bucks feed and they didn't seem to blame us for the fight. In fact, they took it very lightly. I cannot imagine what it would happen if Timmy or Stacey were calling the game

If the Bulls lose this game to the Heat tonight things are going to get very interesting when it comes to seeding.

Miami has four games left to Chicago's three, and 3 of those 4 should be easy wins for the Heat. And Boston might rest their old guys - if so, Miami could win out the season. Chicago has only one really easy game out of the three they have left and is Rose even going to play in these remaining games?

Their game against us could potentially determine their seeding. How sweet would it be if we could smack them into the second seed, thus setting up a potential second round match-up? I want that sooooo badly.

Let it die. As long as Bird is here, JO never will be... PERIOD!

Bill Lamibeer has a better chance being with the Pacers than JO does.

    Observations.

Sanders was really trying to get at DWest until he got a chance to get to Dwest, he stopped. Punk.

I never like Dunleavy, I was at best indifferent, I was shocked when they said he was here 4.5 years.

No, we want Atlanta to win. The Hawks aren't catching us so we want them to win so they get the 5th seed and the Magic get the 6th seed.

But we also don't want them to be indifferent so they let the Knicks beat them and overtake Orlando at 6.

Who were the clowns that said DWest was overpaid and overrated?

    (smh)

He's so consistent and such a bedrock. Let's please not insult West by this nonsense talk anymore.

I honestly don't care who we face sure there is a favorable matchup with the magic but I think we'll take care of whoever we're matched up against. I'm not sweating and I'm sure the team isn't either.

I did.. I changed my mind after his 3rd game with us.

But now he one is one of my favorite Pacers ever. He is just what the team needed.

    REALLY?

Both him and Murphy came to the Pacers with 4.5 year albatross contracts. I still shudder at the thought of those contracts. Thanks Donnie.

Absolutely. Whether it was Hill or Hibbert or West.

That was a 'Be Milwaukee ' moment....from Larry. I admire the fight in both Dunleavy and Sanders and their intensity. If you gonna go down...them go down battling.

The Pacers have not earned jack crap to be pushing their weight around. Not yet....if a team is going to kick you when you are down, then you remember that and take names to kick their a-- when you get back up.
I understand sticking up for your players, but anybody with a brain could see that Sanders was trying to get kicked out as soon as he got the first tech. Also, most Bucks fans seemed to think that they called the foul on Hibbert getting tripped, not Sanders charging Danny's screen.

And I'm not sure how we were "kicking them when they're down?" What, are we supposed to let them win on our home floor so they have a chance to make the playoffs?

I would like to think these kinds of reactions never come from Pacers fans.
