    Default Klay Thompson

This has probably been talked about before but, has anybody else noticed the similarities between Klay Thompson and Reggie Miller?

They were both born and went to high school in southern California; Reggie in Riverside, Klay in Los Angeles and Rancho Santa Margarita.

They are both skinny, 6'7" tall, not great atheletes and primarily shooting guards.

They both went to Pac-10 schools, and after setting school records, were drafted with the 11th pick in the 1st round.

They were/are both as rookies primarily bench players and finish the season 22 years old.

They are both not great rebounders, passers, or defenders, as they are primarily known as scorers, and more specifically great shooters, especially from behind the arc.

Some stats from boths rookie years:

-----------mins pts rebs ast blk stls tos
    Thompson-23.0 11.8 2.3 1.9 0.7 0.3 1.5
    Miller------22.4 10.0 2.3 1.6 0.6 0.2 1.2

It is funny you mention this, but as i was watching the Warriors get killed by the Spurs last night, Thompson even looked like Reggie with the way he ran around on the offensive end for, he was constantly moving.

    Reggie Miller

I'm not perfect and neither are you.

He isn't an "once a generation" kind of shooter like Reggie was, but I can see him ending up being a very prolific scorer...

Exactly. Reggie was once in a long time. Thompson can be good but won't be the next Reggie.
