    Default Pacers/Minny postgame thread

Great win, boring game, are the playoffs here yet?

Fez had 2 points and 4 rebounds in four minutes compared to Hans who had 4 points and 4 rebounds in 23 points .

When do we start the Lou/Fez combo to come of bench for West/Hibbert campaign?

David West cracks me up he's a very low key but intense sort of personality. It really reminds me of the Pedro Cerrano character out of the major league movies, maybe he even has a jobu in his locker.

Look, this team is playing GREAT ball lately. So pleased to see this, heading into playoffs.

Instead of rehashing the same positives everyone else will, though, and there are plenty to rehash, can we talk Tyler Hansbrough?

I really think Vogel needs to reconsider his unwavering loyalty to Hansbrough and arbitrary minutes for the guy, heading into the playoffs. When Tyler's jumper isn't falling, he gives you nothing on either end of the court. Lost on defense, nothing on the boards, black hole on offense. Yet he gets his minutes regardless, until he fouls out.

It's one of my few criticisms right now, and it doesn't detract from how many great things are going on with this team...but I really think Vogel needs to re-think his arbitrary minute-feeding for Tyler. Tyler hasn't earned his minutes this year.

As far as I am concerned, that started when we signed Fez!

I'll go ahead and say it. I believe this team will make some noise in the playoffs.

There was a brief, and very decisive, and altogether unprecedented, outburst of genuine officiating, and it was directed at the best player in the world, and that, my dear young person, simply is not done."

We should bring in Fez earlier.

I think David West will see a large increase in minutes for the playoffs.

Pretty sure Vogel only called 1 timeout all night.

Might've been mentioned in the game thread, but Minnesota hasn't won a game in April since 2009.

I am really disappointed in Tyler this season. I have been a BIG fan of his, and this season has been a disaster. I'm frustrated that Vogel hasn't been able to find some way to help Tyler get his game going, but has stuck with giving him minutes.

I know Vogel believes in Tyler, and I keep hoping that he wakes up and plays well. If he can get it together for the playoffs...

At what point is that belief just unrealistic, though, and actually unfair to the other players/the team itself?

I'm not sure what THE answer to cutting back Tyler's minutes are. I just know, when you're sabotaging the offense and continually lost on defense, you shouldn't play.

Nikola Pekovic, despite his strength and skill, was no match for Roy Hibbert on either end of the floor tonight - very impressive.

Fesenko's put back was the first field goal of his Pacers career!

I think part of it is because we never had anyone who could come in and play better than Hansbrough.

I would like to point out the amazing George putback slam. I would also like to point on that it was setup by Hill taking the rebound from Barea the first time, then boxing out Barea 25 feet away from the basket as Granger drove to the bucket.

That's the point I'm coming to as a fan. There must be some way to get some production out of him. Knowing Tyler's work ethic, I'd say this will be a long, hard summer for him.

On a separate note, the thing I'm most disappointed about from tonight's game is that Roy didn't get to play more. His stat line was 12/11/5blk/2ast but it could've been so much more had he had reason to stay in the game.

Good to see PG24 have a good game.

How about these +/- numbers for the starters?

    Paul +25
    Danny +29
    DWest +29
    Roy +34
    Hill +36
