A big key to tonight's game is for Roy and most importantly Dan Burke to understand that Perkins is absolutely zero threat to shoot a jump shot. So for the love of God do NOT switch and have Roy try and guard Westbrook.

I'd just as soon back off the pick and let Perkins have open 18' jump shots all day than to have Westbrook look like Sonic the Hedgehog gathering coins going to the bucket with Roy in tow.

Heck I'd even rather have Westbrook have open 18' shoots than the misery that will ensue if Westbrook can just get to the lane time after time.
Let KD and Westbrook "get theirs" and shut everyone else down?

I would take a wide open Sefolosha jumper every time over a free drive to the basket. If Collison is as good offensively as he's been the past few game, you have to play him. And you can't have him guarding Westbrook every single play. It'll prolly be similar to how PG guards Rose occasionally.

I think Collison will have a good game; the Thunder don't exactly play fundamentally sound defense. They play the passing lanes and they depend on Ibaka, Perkins, and Durant to make plays at the rim constantly. For being 6', Collison really doesn't shoot the ball if he's getting blocked.

I said this in another thread but I believe someone's going to get tossed in this one.
You know how hippos are made out to be sweet and silly, like big cows, but are actually extremely dangerous and can kill you with stunning brutality? The Pacers are the NBA's hippos....Matt Moore CBS Sports....

I have waited all year for this game (live in OKC), only question is, do I watch from home or go to a sports restaurant filled with Thunder fans?

This is a HUGE statement game in front of what will probably be a packed fieldhouse.

The Pacers have been playing inspired ball lately, I would not have given them much chance at winning this game two weeks ago, but I think they have a good chance tonight.

The big problem is of course at the PG position. I still have nightmares about Westbrook having one of his breakout game against us. We had no answer then and DC will still have no answer. All of his former teammates or UCLA alumni always totally own him. Hopefully George squared can play some good D on him.

It's still called the fieldhouse.... just not Conseco Field House. Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

We have to come out and set the tempo right off the bat. Pure intensity, every quarter. I think Pacers getting steals are going to be a big key to a W. Get some steals and get the offense rolling. Then don't let them get anything inside, no second chance points. Lou will be a big factor tonight. Hib worries me a little though. If He gets denied a few times and knocked around, I'm afraid that he withers for the rest of the game.

    Should be a fun one

Collison worries me in this game... he always seems to not have the greatest performance when he plays against Westbrook.
