Oh yeah. Very damning.
"But, first, let us now praise famous moments, because something happened Tuesday night in Indianapolis that you can watch a lifetime’s worth of professional basketball and never see again. There was a brief, and very decisive, and altogether unprecedented, outburst of genuine officiating, and it was directed at the best player in the world, and that, my dear young person, simply is not done."
They wanted Frank Gore running sideways and his head sideways...lol
Holding, entire colts O-line. 10 yard penalty, repeat 1st down
give him the electric chair for all i care.... this ******* is cruel
Wow, I have seen a lot of motivational speeches in my time as an athlete but I have never had a coach specifically say to identify another players area of concern or past injury and say go for that area. I am glad to say that I have never had a coach that has gone out of his way to try to get other players out of the game. I have had some pretty intense coaches but nver like this. It is disrespectful to the game, his team, the other team and his players.
Kinda makes you wonder what he, or anyone who plays or coaches like that, would do if facing a QB with a 4 time operated on spine....
Not a nice thought there...
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.
"A player who makes a team great is more valuable than a great player. Losing yourself in the group, for the good of the group, that’s teamwork."
Ive heard of motivation, but this is not it. This is what is wrong with sports. There are always idiots trying to injure and making a mockery of the game. THIS is why I hate the Saints.

So, I guess the question becomes one of insurance liability for those who did suffer injuries?
Also, what about the horrific beating that Favre took from them? I can't help but wonder if there might be some significant repercussions there.
This is basically the kind of stuff I expected when I heard the charges against them.
This is more damning on the guy recording this stuff, I hope he likes his 15 minutes of fame cause this snitch isn't going to be getting another job any time soon in the NFL.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

And if that happens, I hope he sues the crap out of the NFL for violating federal whistleblowers law.
I heard on the news this morning that player he was filming supposedly "owns" all the footage, and they both have a written agreement that nothing would be released without both signing off on it first.
Want to guess if the former Saints player signed off on this?
The guy that got the audio was there with permission filming for a piece they are doing on another player who has ALS, I believe.
But my point is that this whole "snitches get stitches" is just stupid. It's not an act of cowardness, or whatever negative phrase someone wants to use. If you don't want something recorded, then don't do it. Especially in a room of 50+ guys. You don't have a right to privacy with that many people around.
So, um, yeah the video is very disturbing, but did anyone hear Darren Woodson on ESPN trying to justify Williams speech?
He compared Williams talking about hitting guys in the head to a golfer saying he was going to go up and smash a ball on the tee box. Paraphrasing he basically said, "A golfer says they're going to smash the ball, but they don't really mean they're going to smash the ball flat, and the same thing is true with wanting to hit someone in the head." I mean....how stupid are some of these guys? I always thought Darren was a pretty articulate person, but the ESPN interviewer looked like they had just been hit upside the head with a baseball bat the way they were looking at Darren. It was as if he wasn't even listening to himself speak.
If I were Roger Goodell, I would slap another year's suspension on Sean Payton and require the Saints fire him. And if he appealed that, I'd slap another on him. I don't care whether other teams are doing this or not, the Saints are the one's that got caught so that is a moot point. Now it is time to make sure it doesn't happen again.
When Williams starts talking about Gore's ACL or Davis's ankle, I really just wanted to vomit.
Agree with the second point, though breaking a contract is still breaking a contract
I was just guessing the answer to your question.
