I'll take it, but that was hard to watch.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

Let's just thank the Wizards for their amazing tanking. Frankly, if they weren't in the hunt for the #1 pick, I believe that we would lose both games. And while we did came back in the first game (which was great), we were very mediocre in this one.

It wasn't really a rebound match but hey at least we won

The next two games will determine the motive for the rest of the season. If they lay eggs in both games then I am thoroughly convinced that they can not get out of the first round.

In fact I would wager some cash on it.

Quite a struggle against a lottery bound team. We got our free throw shooting perfectly in the waning seconds.

It's a good thing to be so frustrated about this game and it's still a win. Right??

By the way I know that Wall is a great talent but he would drive me crazy with his decision making, he makes stupid mistakes all the time, is he worse than Westbrook in his second year or similar?

So, for future reference, this shall henceforth be referred to as a "fugly win".

Not a good sign with another 6 games in 8 nights stretch coming right up, after just one day of rest.

After that though, the schedule in the homestretch looks pretty easy.

Yep Texas 2 step, OKC and Boston on the back side, this could be another bad stretch, but like you said, after that we should finish really strong...

Ugly game. Gotta get sum rest. This season is tuff. Happy we pulled this one out. Had little to no energy. Stick with us Indy!

Guys are definitely tired. And while that's no excuse for the ugly game, it's still a win that will help us secure the 3 to 5 spot in the standings in the long run. With many teams in the East are very close to our current record, you take every win you get regardless of the result.

Am I the only one who thought Tyler coming into the game in the third quarter saved the game for us?

Tyler did his part. He gave us a lot of much needed energy. He hustled and drew fouls. I don't know if he saved the game for us but he definately contributed a lot to this W.

Before he came in, it was not looking good live, our starters couldn't hit a drop into the ocean and they were having their way with our D. Right after Tyler came in, I thought things turned around.

All I caught was the end of the game and I didn't see Fesenko.
Did anyone see if he was there or not. I wonder what the status is on his first game with us? He might come in handy on Sat.

I think that Lou's presence helped a lot as well.

He was there in street clothes.

Today on Pacers weekly Boyle was talking to Vogel about Fesenko and some of you guys are either going to be very upset or very dissapointed I don't know which.

Basically he said he is sticking with Lou and that it will be nice to have another big body but Lou is his guy at the backup 5. Also he did mention that Fes was out of playing shape since his injury but he thought he would be available in a couple of weeks.

So for those of you who thought he was going to come in and get playing time here I think your in for some let down.

Sounds like he was really brought in more to be a "break glass in case of emergency" type player.

wife had a comment during the game.

looks like no one, including the officials, wants to be here tonight.

except for that brief moment when jordon crawford stopped missing. as long as he was making shots, he was ready to play. as soon as he missed a couple, he went back to sleep.

i don't see this game making any NBA promo's. it was brutal.

Kyrylo Fesenko, who joined the team for practice Tuesday, was inactive and is expected to remain so indefinitely until he rebulds his conditioning and becomes acclimated to the Pacers offensive and defensive schemes.

That Washington team might be tanking, but they have good players. Adding Nene to that team has made them much more formidable. They have unleashed Serephin as well. And of course Wall is already getting the superstar calls. They have guys who are giving it their all because they are playing for jobs too. Its kinda like what we should have done 3-4 years ago.

I don't consider it a bad thing to grind out a win vs a terrible team. It builds you for when you have to grind it out against a really good team.
