I wanted you all to hear it from me 1st before u saw it on the news... I will be signing with the Washington Redskins and I'm very excited about the opportunity in front of me.

I want to thank all Colts fans from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support you've shown me the past 4 years and I hope that at some level u will still follow my career, as I will continue to share my life with you on here...

So he'll get to drop balls from RG3
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Jabar Gaffney was their #1, right?

I don't think Garcon is a #1, but he is a lot better than Gaffney.
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

I suspect Vincent Jackson will also be added to their WR corps. RGIII might have some weapons at his disposal.

Jackson is in TB now, but they have a bunch of receivers though, no #1, Moss, Hankerson, Morgan, Armstrong, Royal from denver, kind of overkill

I have a question. I saw this post over at a Redskins site. Is this accurate? I always hear you guys talk about his drops, was this over his whole career

Garcon had 4 drops in 135 targets

Brandon Marshall (great trade) had 14 drops in 145 targets
Roddy White (pro bowler) had 15 drops in 181 targets
Dwayne Bowe had 12 drops in 141 targets.
Desean Jackson (pro bowler) had 9 drops in 104 targets.

Please stop saying this guy drops the ball. Maybe he used to drop alot, but he didn't last year. ? ?

    I just got it confirmed.

Eddie did not sign with Washington. His agent is working to make it happen, but nothing is official yet

Redskins always spend money, but they haven't done so smartly in a long long time.

Hopefully the Colts will make some smart signings. Need to improve that O-Line first. Let's make sure Luck makes it to the second year when we have another top pick.
Lance + Starting SG = Awesome

That stopped when Bruce Allen was hired. They spent smarty last year, and while I am sure impressed with the names so far, I can deal with guys who are mid-20 year olds who we project and hope pan out a lot better then I can guys who are 35 and who come to Washington to get paid one last time.

Rumor is Eddie Royal signed 12 million 2 years

I wonder what he did last year, he improved but still had a lot of drops as well. I will say that I just looked at the list for last year and wayne was 5th best and collie was 12 best in not dropping the ball, this is wonderful for Luck to hear.

If this drop number here is to be believed, then his drop rate was 6.7% (5 drops on 70 receptions).

    http://www.csnwashington.com/footbal...04&feedID=6355

This puts him just out of the best 20. Maybe he's improved. Maybe it's a 1 year anomaly. Who knows?

The author of the article is giving him a bit too much credit, however. He's using drops per targeted pass. There were a lot more targets going Garcon's way last year, but those targets were thrown by inferior QBs, so there were a lot of balls that were neither catchable nor dropable in those target #s.
