YES!!!!!! I want to know the contract terms, but if the money is even somewhat sane, I am so freakin' excited by this.

Reggie Wayne re-signing a three-year deal with Colts. Agreement reached.

I never saw this coming. I thought Reggie would sign where Peyton does or go to Miami. Glad to see he is staying but it does surprise me.

Great to see this. You can't throw Luck out there with absolutely no weapons. By the time Reggie's deal is up he will be nearing the end of his peak (if he isn't already there) and we will have had time to draft his heir apparent. I like it. Smart move.

Quite frankly, following Peyton is a risky deal...and this is business. Luck might actually extend Reggie's career. I think it's a smart move on his part.

Man, if those numbers are accurate that's a good deal for both sides.

I'm surprised he's staying but I never thought he was going to follow Manning to begin with then he'd never escape that shadow.

I just remember how last season he hated how the team was referenced as a one man show(and of course it really was)

With Garcon going elsewhere it might've upped the Colts' interest in re-signing Reggie. Plus he'll make a nice bridge from the former Colts era to the new era... whatever that shall ultimately be.
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

So Wayne gets 17 million, and Garcon gets 42 million?

Even if Wayne's deal was 5 years like Garcon he would get 28 million. That's hilarious.

If you woulda told me yesterday we re-signed him, I woulda said ya right and prolly woulda been disappointed.... but after Garcon left, I was hoping we would. Great sign if we kept the money reasonable. Great hands and route running. Should be a huge help for Luck coming in. Excited they got it done and good to see Reggie's loyalty.

At least now we have 2 WRs that can help Luck out in Wayne and Collie. I feel much better about the offense now.

That is cool, I had all but written Reggie as gone with wherever Peyton lands. Good deal for both parties. Now we have our vet back to show our young QB a thing or two. I still think we need to add a defensive vet who knows the 3-4 well. I think our o-line will be better especially if our highly drafted rookies from last year are healthy and can develop a relationship with our young arm.

I don't. I don't care how good Luck is, he's gonna get pounded this year on drop backs, and he has no reliable RB to hand off to 30 times a game. People forget that Peyton had a Hall of Fame level RB and WR the day he landed in Indy. Donald Brown will break one every three or four games. He's definitely not the grinding move the chains style back that Luck will need.

And dont' get me wrong, I'm 100% stoked that Wayne stayed here and will likely end his career as a Colt.

This is great news. I never thought Reggie was coming back. At least Luck will have someone of Pro Bowl talent to throw the ball to.

I'm slightly worried about our line as well... needs to improve! But Luck is MUCH more mobile than Manning and could survive a weak OL a lot better.. Carter is a very good RB, he was the best on our roster last year as well. For some reason had a slight fumbling problem that he's never had before in his career. Ill bet he'll fix that this year. Hopefully he will get the nods as the main back this year if we don't sign a good back.

I have a feeling Collie is going to have great chemistry with Luck and the two will be a very nice combo... need a dangerous slot reciever still tho.

Collie will play the slot. They'll leave Reggie on the left and then draft a WR in this draft (most likely at pick 34 since this draft is absolutely STACKED at WR) with an eye on taking Garcon's spot on the right.

Hopefully Jeremy Ross will get an opportunity to show he can play. If he can be consistent we might not have to throw a rookie out there and maybe pick an impact defensive player at 34 and wait until the third round to go for a WR. I think we have some talent at WR on our roster, but they are young. Did Gonzo get the axe too? I have not heard anything about him in a while.

Well he's an unrestricted free agent. I've never seen anything out of him that makes me believe he'll be back.

I was thinking the same way, it has been so long since I heard his name brought up so I figured he was already long gone. I don't think he will be back. We have other young talent potential that can stay on the field without getting injured.
