Default Pacers Celtics Lakers Wolves, Wild Idea

    Celtics Trade: Rajon Rondo
    Receive: Roy Hibbert, A.J Price

    Lakers Trade: Pau Gasol
Receive: Darren Collison, David West, Michael Beasley

Pacers Trade: Darren Collison, Roy Hibbert, David West, A.J Price, 2012 1st round pick
    Receive: Rajon Rondo, Pau Gasol

    Wolves Trade: Michael Beasley
Recieve: 2012 1st round pick from Indiana

    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=6mgyade

    Why FOR:
Celtics: Rondo is getting shopped again, they seem to have confidence in Bradley, getting a young all-star center and a lesser point guard should be good enough
Lakers: Trade 1 major piece for 3 lesser starting pieces. I actually think they win this trade.
    Pacers: CONTENDERS!
Wolves: They have been asking for a 1st for Beas, as they probably aren't going to resign him.

You really think that with Lou starting at C we would be contenders?

    Well...

You'd have a top 5 PG in Rondo.
Emerging star at SG with PG.
Solid semi-star with Danny at SF.
    Star PF in Pau.

You could probably cover up the center spot pretty easily. Not to mention that, in the East, you don't have to deal with any real 5's except Howard.

I don't like the trade(s) because it/they are completely overhauling the team, and you can't just throw good pieces together and expect them to fit. But in theory/on paper it should work.

Well, this is really more of a "fantasy" trade, I know it's not going to happen. I just think the value is right for each team and this is why I thought it's interesting.

It's interesting but I just don't see anyone competing against the Heat (and thus contending as you said) without having players willing to bang inside.

We win that trade. Which is why it won't happen.

I think Ainge would want a first as well.

Would never happen. I'd rather trade DC, Tyler, Lance and picks for Rondo.

Celtics are never trading Rondo now unless they get a bona fide star in return.

Sadly, the Pacers would have to wait out his contract. Hopefully we'd have our point of the future by then.
Lance + Starting SG = Awesome

    Now really free Lance!

I wanna keep Roy. Period. We have 3 points that can be gotten via FA.
