    Default Pacers-Sixers

Would never happen, with the Pacers and Sixers both in the midst of the playoff race and very possibly facing each other as the 4-5 seeds. But what do you think of this deal:

    Pacers trade: Granger, Price
    Sixers trade: Turner, Williams, Nocioni

Basically a quantity for quality trade. Sixers strengthen their starting lineup, Pacers strengthen their bench. The Pacers have a potential future payoff as well, if Turner turns into a star as some think he could be.

    Sixers lineup:

    Hawes/Vucevic
    Brand/Allen
    Granger/Young
    Iguodala/Meeks
    Holiday/Price

    Pacers lineup:

    Hibbert/Foster
    West/Hans
    George/Noc
    Turner/Williams
    Collison/Hill

Sixers add some much needed shooting/scoring in Granger. Granger/Iggy should be a pretty good combo. For the Pacers, we fill multiple holes - Turner is a good ballhandling/playmaking SG, and might even play PG full time eventually. Lou Williams is a dangerous bench scorer. And Nocioni is another tough, smashmouth type player. Lou Will has a player option next year that he'll likely exercise, and Noc has a team option, so there are no long term cap implications.

Again, I don't think this will happen. But I like the idea of grabbing Turner while his price is (relatively) low. I think he could be a future star.

I like all 5 players mentioned in this deal. I wouldn't object to it.

the one thing that hurts about trading Granger is that (recently) hes been our most consistent scorer.
"So, which one of you guys is going to come in second?" - Larry Bird before the 3 point contest. He won.

That's why I'm not hellbent to move him like a lot of people on this board. Same with DC. I believe that both are underrate by some people here (not that they are not overrate by others).

That said, there's a reason that most of the trade talks consist of Granger, DC, Tyler or a combination of those. People will just not move Hibbert or PG and West is not going to go anywhere anyway before the summer.

So, I can understand why people toy with DC, Granger and Tyler when they are trying to propose trades. They are our only assets that are not complete fillers or picks/cap.

Personally, I wouldn't trade anyone at the moment (especially, a part of our core) but hey this is the Trade Proposal section

I really don't like the idea of two teams so close together in the standings trading away big parts of their nucleus like this. Just feels like a cop out.
