Ben Howland needs to be fired and this is a great example of why inmates cant run the asylum and character can trump talent in recruiting if the talent doesn't fit with the program. Plus he sounds like a really crazy coach maybe even bi-polar I feel bad for DC and for the mangers and everyone who went though this pretty sad story.

Reeves Nelson needs to be punched and really traning for the draft?? Kid is a prick picking on weaker people and just being an a hole. Partly Howland's fault for not kicking him off the team much sooner.

I think you could draw a lot of parallels between Howland and O'Brien. Both are incredibly smart, talented coaches who failed because of their lack of interpersonal skills.

I read this yesterday. I don't care if I was an assistant coach or not, as soon as Reeves barked at me like a dog, I'd take him out back. It would be the last time he talked to anyone that way.

The manager is the one where I'd just be livid. I can't believe Howland treated him like that.

Not only that but Howland kicking a kid out for not going 100% in walk around that is absurd. When you are in a hotel lobby working on things you really expect kids to be going 100%. It is more about learning the mental things not being in the correct defensive stance or what not. If they were doing it in practice I could understand but kicking someone out of walk around is just lol to me.

Also his mom saying the coach should of been stricter is just lol. She is the one who should of taught her kid how to act.

I said this when Smith came out I wouldnt of touched that kid. The only coach who should recruit kids that are huge headaches like Josh Smith is Coach Cal he gets the best out of those kind of lazy players. Babying a Josh Smith is only gonna make him worse.

Kyle Anderson my favorite player in the 2012 class will be a bruin next year. He has a lot of James Harden in his game I hope he can help turn around the program.

    What a toilet. Very sad.

There was a brief, and very decisive, and altogether unprecedented, outburst of genuine officiating, and it was directed at the best player in the world, and that, my dear young person, simply is not done."

I am glad to see DC come out in the positive way after experiencing this.
