J.J. Reddick would be the perfect addition to this team imo. Perfect bench guy that can light it up from anywhere.
Passion, Pride, Playoffs, Pacers
Please no Jameer Nelson
I'd take Reddick, for free, possibly as part of some other trade as a salary dump.

Both have contracts that last 2 years and are off the books after the 2012-2013 season. I'd consider Morrow.....he's owed less and can play some SF as well.

Gentlemen, gentlemen, let's slow our roll a little bit. It's perfectly sensible that Pritchard is merely scouting the players to prepare for our upcoming game. Although, it's also rather sensible that Pritchard is looking at a Timberwolf or two. Or maybe he's actually scouting some Magic players.
In my opinion, if we're looking at anyone, I would realistically take Anthony Randolph, Earl Clark, or Mike Beasley (not in that order). I don't really want Redick (disappointment), or Nelson (let him rot in Orlando), or Darko (yuck), or Brad Miller (really?), or pretty much anyone else on either team not named Derrick, Ricky, Dwight, or Kevin. But I truly don't believe any of those four are available, especially to us.
I just hope we do make a big move soon that will better our team. If Bird DOES sit on his hands by the trade deadline, I will be massively disappointed. The time for contention is here, no more three-year plans, no more waiting. This is OUR year, and Bird knows it. If we sit on our asses for one more year, and let ourselves fall out of the playoffs in the first round again, I will be heavily disappointed.
WE MUST WIN!
My brother listens to a sports podcast called the Warroom and he sent me this quote from them a couple weeks ago:
"Most of the these guys on the Magic would be sandwich artists if there were less teams in the league."
What about a deal that would send Dwight to Los Angeles? Maybe we are the ones facilitating a deal to get Howard out of the East, much like the Houston deal that fell through with NO. Maybe we are looking at who we would like from Orlando in a salary dump as part of that deal where we would get Pau. Just a thought. West, Pau, Hibbert?
"Your course, your path, is not going to be like mine," West says. "Everybody is not called to be a multimillionaire. Everybody's not called to be the president. Whatever your best work is, you do it. Do it well. … You cease your own greatness when you aspire to be someone else."
