Default George Hill has a chip-fracture in his foot

Coach said in the post game presser that they will know more in a couple days. But was non-committal when asked if he could be out a week or even longer.

    Not good news.

...and more AJ/DJ. This is a pretty big deal, actually... and might move us closer to considering a trade for a wing.

DC needs to pressure Rubio 2mrw but this sucks. Guys are gonna have their way with us without Hill there to defend the likes of Rubio at pg. Rubio killed Kyle Lowery the other night I hope we put Paul George on him tomorrow.

Rubio is 6'4", so put PG on him. Minnie starts/plays Ridenour at SG, so DC/Stephenson can guard him.

Beat me to it (damn slow 3g).
Look for AJ to step in. Also, if Larry is thinking of making a move, now is a good time to start looking.
    A.Marrow looked good tonight....

Morrow has been good all year and they are said to be shopping him to create cap space(to take on Hedo's deal if they do the Dwight trade). I hope we at least call and if it is truly just cap space we make the trade.

Hopefully it was bad film and they find that there is no chipped bone!

Was playing basketball a few months back and my friend broke his foot in nearly the same way as Hill and it ended up being a chip fracture. He's off the crutches but he still has a bit of a limp.

Sucks for Hill but I love the way Chip Fracture sounds like it could be a Nicolas Cage character's name in a movie. "Detective Chip Fracture, NYPD"

Well this sux going into this part of the schedule. However, he should have plenty of time to heal and get back into game shape before playoffs! I hope LB doesn't panic or pull a trigger to quick for not such a good deal and not maximize the trade deadline!

No offense, but your friend in med school hasn't seen the x-rays, doesn't know how severe the injury is, and is well...still in med school. Just a pet peeve of mine, I want to hear it from a doctor and more specifically from a doctor who has actually seen the X-Ray and done the MRI I'm sure is to come. (And which we should be more concerned about, if the MRI reveals any tendon/ligament damage it will be a 2 monther for sure.)

If it's simple chip of a bone, and the bone is still stable, I would be shocked if it takes him out for 8 weeks. That being said, everything is still very much up in the air. I'm not gonna panic, but it certainly will limit us a bit. We need to continue to see the defense from Lance that we saw tonight.

I will say, when Hill was interviewed in the locker room after the game, it was very hard to get a read on him, but I would definitely say he didn't seem optimistic.
