Default Thinking about going to tonights game, parking info?

Hey guys im about 45 miles out from indy and was thinkin about picking up some tickets for the game tonight. But I wanted to know if it was going to be too hard to find parking with all the stuff going on? Any insight would be helpful from someone who's around that area... Thanks a lot.

    Trey,

In my opinion its going to be a nightmare to park downtown this evening. I was just walking around the village this afternoon and its pretty busy, yet the real party doesn't start till people get off work this evening

I have no clue if fieldhouse parking is open for the game tonight or not.
To sum it up, if you do come tonight give yourself extra time to find parking and to account for the extra time spent in traffic.

I agree. I was there last Friday and it sucked. You can probably find parking, but not for under $20. Not sure about the Fieldhouse garage either.

Park on the street. I parked on Alabama fine last night and will tonight for free.

The garage is $12. The ODDS of actually getting into the garage tonight or Saturday without a reserved spot (which apparently sold out for both games last night or this morning) is pretty slim though.

Got this from PS&E, might be of interest.

Last Saturday, Bankers Life Fieldhouse hosted more than 10,000 people for the Rock & Worship Roadshow at the same time that tens of thousands were enjoying the festivities in downtown Indianapolis. The city's preparations allowed traffic to flow smoothly despite the increased number of visitors.

Pacers Sports & Entertainment, in coordination with the Super Bowl Host Committee, is committed to providing you all the information you need to Know Before You Go downtown to enjoy upcoming Pacers home games.

With the volume of activities and the thousands of additional visitors, there will be traffic restrictions in the areas around Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Click here to learn more and to plan your commute.

The cost of parking in the Virginia Ave. Parking Garage will remain the same for both Pacers home games this week. However, parking will be limited so fans are encouraged to arrive early. You may also reserve parking in advance for Tuesday's game by clicking here. If you park in the Virginia Ave. Parking Garage for Saturday's game, you must vacate the garage by 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5 or risk your vehicle being towed.

Reminder: Tickets in the Krieg DeVault Level are available for only $46 and in the Lower Level for $74. Take advantage of this offer exclusive to Season Ticket Holders for the Jan. 31 and Feb. 4 games.
