Good for Jim.
Good for Baltimore too.
Quarterback's coach is really the perfect spot for him. It maximizes his qualities and removes any need to be a in-game manager which he was beyond awful at. I would have gladly taken him back to be Luck's personal coach.
"I had to take her down like Chris Brown."
Upon being told the hiring was official, Jim expressed his genuine enthusiasm in the way only he can.
I think Jim is a nice guy, I am happy he was able to get on with his career quickly. I'm also happy he's doing it somewhere else.
From Head coach to QB coach.... yes, he was that bad.
Glad he was able to stay in the NFL tho.
Thank you Irsay.
Why so SERIOUS
They know Manning is not included right?
Regardless good for him. Some guys aren't meant to be head coaches he is one of them.
I am glad for him that he was able to get another gig and for a good team. I didn't think he was head coach material from the start, but he is a very good guy from what I have seen from him. I am pretty sure the Raven's QB's will be better because of Jim Caldwell. Maybe Jim will get another shot at a head coaching position down the road and he uses his time here as a learning experience.
Caldwell seemed like a classy guy. His parting words from Indy were very classy. I just don't think he deserved to be HC. This wasn't the team for him to get his chance or try learning on the job. But I certainly wish him well and glad he can continue earning an NFL paycheck and I'd like nothing more than him prove me wrong about his ability to be a HC in the NFL.
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.
