What's really getting crazy is that every single one of our young guys are doing things that they couldn't do last year... DC with the euro step, Hansbrough with his back to the basket, Roy with everything, George with shooting and dribbling... It goes on and on.
Does anybody know where to find the David West dunk? I missed it...
Collison pulled out a few Rondo-esque moves tonight, with the fake pass and reverse thingy...
I'm lovin DWest.
Paul George seems to have 1 highlight-reel play in every 4th quarter.
DJones had some very nice plays tonight.
Hibbert, ya. Granger, ya. Hansbrough, ya.
There are two types of quarterbacks in the league: Those whom over time, the league figures out ... and those who figure out the league.
The guy lost his chance for my respect on that side of things when he skipped out on his SATs. He doesn't speak well, and the fact that he skipped out on his SATs clearly says something about him.
Great basketball player, amazing athlete.

When @csnbullsinsider asked DRose most disappointing part of loss, DRose took 12 seconds (12 seconds!) to compose himself to answer. #Bulls
I stopped at this post, and there's about 5 pages ahead of me, so maybe someone else points this out, but Boozer is Troy Murphy tough.
He disappears at the worst times and kills bad teams, but struggles against good teams. If you go by stats I think you're being Murphy'd.
Troy Murphy has never shot above 50% from the field for a season. Boozer has done it every year for his career.
Calling Boozer an all star would be a gross mis-representation of his skill level. Comparing him to Troy Murphy is the same thing just at the opposite end of the spectrum.
We get it stats aren't the end all, be all of basketball, but I swear sometimes around here it's like most people would have you believe they don't matter at all.
Does Rose get offended then when Noah celebrates after every dunk?
Murphy shoots a ton of 3 point shots, so the shooting percentage disparity is partially the difference in the types of shots they take. Boozer IS Troy Murphy bad on defense.
82 games on Boozer last year at PF, his per was 16.7, and the guy he was guarding was 17.6. His eFG% was 47.2%. The guy he was guarding? 51.1%.
So no, I'm not acting like numbers don't matter. I'm just looking at different numbers.
***EDIT*** Just for fun I looked up Murphy's defensive numbers in 08-09 when he was here. His opponents per was 18.5 and shot 51.3% against him. Looks pretty similar to Boozer.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, but Derrick Rose is a great player, I would LOVE to have him on our team. I know teams without superstars can win, but he is just so good at changing the direction of a game.
And moving on to the win, I was on edge of my seats, in those last 30 seconds. It was all a blur, especially when DC slipped, but it was great game, even if we had lost. Great to see them come back by 10 points down.

Didn't get to watch the game, really wish it had been on LP so I could check the replay. Obviously a great win, especially after the debacalu Tuesday. I don't understand the comments about Rose. We could do a lot worse than him in terms of faces of the league. The more tension and rivalry between these two teams, the better.
Great win! I'll rewatch right away.
The double teams/rotations in the 2nd half were much better tonight than they have been all season. I love seeing that progress, especially since Rose is very capable of making a good pass in those situations.
LOL at Rose. Things he'll never forget: His kids being born, September 11th, the way the Pacers celebrated after that win.
Side note: There are post game vids up from the Orlando game but none from the LA game on the nba.com site. Anybody know where I can watch L.A. post game conferences?

Went to the box score because Paul George had 0 assists.
Uh, that was PG24 with the pass.Hibbert Slam Dunk Shot: Made (20 PTS) Assist: Granger (1 AST) 00:13.1
On opening night they gave Lance's assist to Dahntay at home even, at least this was on the road.
