They must get raises for kissing the Bulls' asses. Their homerism is to the point where it's sickening.
I don't know, as classy as them Bulls fans were (chanting BS), it might be in their BEST interests to be homers, if you catch my drift....

Brewer abused him on the other end of the floor.
He definitely had a horrible stretch there of turnovers and missed defensive assignments. When the second half came around, the guy flat out wanted to win. I think Roy was the best, but Danny wasn't too far behind.

Not in the second half. The whole team was bad on D in the first half.

    Watching the Bulls Postgame, Thibodeau claims he didn't feel we played physical at all. He also stated that the Pacers are a much better team than last year, as well as PG is going to have a long career in the NBA....I am somewhat surprised that there were no excuses or scapegoats.....just acknowledging that we are a solid team with a good core;;;;
That doesn't surprise me. He seems to be a pretty fair coach.

They make fools of themselves and they make it sound like they don't know anything about basketball.
Agreed. They sounded dumbfounded when Roy hit that J from the elbow and they also said that they should let DWest take mid range jumpers (saying "these are the shots you want him to take, don't let him drive"). Really, wtf were they saying?

There is a reason why Brewer had a season high today, just saying.

Another game where I feel the pacers would have lost if David West wasn't on our team
David is definitely a difference maker. He is a vet who doesn't get phased by pressure situations. I am glad to have him on the team, however without him we would still be a better team than last year.

How great was it that we were able to let Granger and Hibbert sit for the first 6 minutes of the 4th, and we didn't blow the lead? That was huge and it says a lot about our bench. Hansbrough really stepped up tonight which was good to see.

One of those reasons would be he played extremely well. He was clearly motivated, he also had 10 rebounds and 5 assists, he came ready to play. In the second half, he had a whopping 4 points.

Anyone else impressed with DC's D against Hamilton late? I was really wondering if we should have gone with George and Paul, but Darren was very good against Hamilton. Bulls definitely wasted a couple possessions trying to score on Darren and he did a good job denying it.

We definitely are: we have much more scoring power and we are really a "team." Larry has put together a powerful young team. I hope we can start filling up the stands again.
imagine if Legend would have got us Crawford. not that im a huge fan but Crawford would destroy a zone, something the pacers may see again. george will become a solid player but right now i would enjoy more seeing him with the second 5.

i still do not believe this team has reached its potential.

Great win for the BLUE & GOLD!!

Good game by the pacers. Also great coaching and good timeouts there at the end to get the plays that we wanted.it's Australia today but I will remember it as pacers day.

After listening to the Bulls' announcers, and then reading all of the comments here on PD, I'm starting to wonder something: Are the announcers simply a reflection of the fan base or do they in some profound way shape the way Chicago fans think about their team and opposing squads? A better example might be the Boston Celtics, whose TV team has been together for a literal generation. If you're watching 82 games a year of Tommy Heinsohn's "unbiased" thoughts and beliefs, isn't it likely that you'll begin to share them?

I assume Rose and Boozer are the other two in that quartet. I personally think Noah and Rip are more important than Taj Gibson, but that's just one dude's opinion.
No, I think Noah is probably #2 on their team behind DRose. Gibson is better than Boozer. Rip isn't a bad player, but no way is he in the top 4 on that team.

Fantastic D from DC and George the first 9 minutes of the quarter and the Paul took over in the final 3 and you could tell Rose stuttered a bit just trying to figure out how he was going to attack him. It's very nice to be able to throw different looks at Rose.

Danny had a very good game offensively with 3/4 3 point shots. Please confirm that because of the heat of the game i can't totally recall but didn't Vogel change the rotations in the last quarter?West played almost all of it and we also had George,Tyler and Hill in there while Danny and Roy were getting some rest.I certainly liked that more as it was more balanced and we had real scoring options.
