Uh, that was PG24 with the pass.

On opening night they gave Lance's assist to Dahntay at home even, at least this was on the road.

Amundson still sucks. Play Pendergraph. At least try it for a rotation.

Of course, I should've known this was gonna happen, but last night in the game thread:

So... our supposedly best player is getting outplayed on both ends by the Bulls' 6th option, not really giving me confidence they'll turn this thing around today! So yeah, since it's 3am here, good night!
It was very nice to wake up and seeing the Pacers make me eat my words! It got me through the day (even it was only a half one!). GO PACERS!
yay, we're going back to the play-offs!

I assume Rose and Boozer are the other two in that quartet. I personally think Noah and Rip are more important than Taj Gibson, but that's just one dude's opinion.
Noah is far more important to them than Boozer.

Its nice to see them do something they haven't shown the ability to do previously this season: regroup and gut out a win against elite competition.

Pacers notebook: Hill, Hibbert must wait on contract extensions
    Mike Wells

Hill and the Pacers appeared to be on their way to agreeing to an extension Tuesday when talks broke down, with the sides about $1.5 million apart in yearly salary.

"I thought it was going to happen after hearing they wanted to keep me here," Hill said. "I think everything my side did was reasonable. You never know how that is going to go. It's a business and both sides came to the conclusion that we didn't meet up where we wanted to meet. We just have to see what happens."

Hill could turn out to be a one-year rental if a team makes an offer the Pacers feel is too high to match.

"I'm going to continue to do the best I can and be the player I've always been," Hill said. "If it's meant to be, I'll be an Indiana Pacer. If it's not, then I have to figure out what's the next step."

Contract negotiations might have played a part in George Hill's out-of-the-zonedness the past two games.

Yep, NBA.com's highlights are of "Brewer finishes on a break" and "Rose rejects George."

If it wasn't for the Pacers I'd hate the NBA.
Agreed.I mean no way D West's dunk on Noah's face has any place in the game's highlights...smh

As I recall it was Danny. PG gets the hockey assist.

I'd have to check the video again, but right after the play I thought to myself that Danny taking the assist instead of the shot was awesome.

I'm pretty sure it was Paul as well. But who cares

If we're handing out hockey assists, we might as well go back to Joakim Noah for saving the ball when it would have been out on us.

Goal by Hibbert at 11:47 in the 4th. Assisted by George and Noah.

Are you talking about on that last play where Roy dunked? I'd have to go back and watch, but I thought DC managed to flip it up or re-direct it to Paul when he dove on the floor.

Yeah I think he collected the ball from Noah. Noah dove to save it from going out of bounds, but had he let it go, it would have been Bulls' ball, because I'm pretty sure it was off of Granger.

    He did.

Noah foolishly saved a ball that was going out off of us, which went right to DC. After dribbling off his face, DC stumbled and tossed it to Paul who flipped it to Hibbert for the dunk.

    Assist goes to Granger.

The New Orleans stats keepers are trying to retroactively give it to Chris Paul.

Dribbling off his face? I guess you missed Rose diving on teh floor and tripping him. I'm pretty sure it was Rose.

DC was turning the corner (to pull the ball out and milk the clock), and his foot and Rose's foot hit, DC goes down, flips the ball out to PG, who then delievers the pass to Roy.

    Rose didn't dive though.

Fantastic D from DC and George the first 9 minutes of the quarter and the Paul took over in the final 3 and you could tell Rose stuttered a bit just trying to figure out how he was going to attack him. It's very nice to be able to throw different looks at Rose.
I was hoping all game that Vogel would bring in Paul George at the end as our "secret weapon" against Rose. And that's exactly what happened.

    they really are terrible.
About half the commentators in the league make those same comments.

The Bulls commentators are just worse due to their Heinsonesque Homerism.™

We obviously miss Jeff as our back up center, but I was glad to see West/Hanbrough get Lou's minutes in the second half..

Before or after Rose tripped him? BEFORE...

Saying he dribbled it off his face is something Vnzla, or you, would latch on too and try to use to show how bad of a ball handler DC is.

Sorry for thinking that proper context ought to be used, so it's not taking wildly out of proportion.
