They beat us at our own game that stings.

I though Granger should of tried to make the 2nd FT also kind of puzzled why we didn't. The Kings are a terrible FT shooting team.

We got mauled by the zone defense, we could not get the ball inside.

This is a game better off without a post game thread.

Dumb plays down the stretch. Paul George had a great game, up until the final 5 minutes.

On the replay it didn't look like Granger was early on that FT miss either. I know everyone has already strung him up for it, but whatever.

8 to 24 in the 4th quarter, what a embarrassing collapse.

Well, let's put it behind us right now and make sure we get the next one.

Yup. Got out-smashmouthed on offensive boards and out-hustled. If it wasn't for poor shooting by Sacto, we would have been even more embarrassed.

I think Foster would have been a valuable asset to have tonight. Horrible loss thought.

    Straight choke job.

Don't know if it was all lack of execution or coaching, but we were clueless against the zone. The middle was frequently wide open, but we hit it by pass or dribble penetration very infrequently. The few times we did, there was never anyone in the gaping holes on either baseline near the basket. Clueless zone offense.

This game was disappointing but any team in the nba can beat any team on any given night. The Thunder lost to Washington tonight too... it happens.

    Agree.

Shows how much Foster means to this team.

But did they give up 30 offensive rebounds?

Cant blame that on a bad game

Foster would have helped to a degree, but the domination on the glass was so intense, don't think it would have changed the outcome.

Only highlights for me were a couple of Quinn Bucknerisms.

My favorite: Isaiah Thomas....No relation to Isaiah Thomas.

I could have gone to bed at 10 if I had known the Pacers were just going to give a ****-tastic interpretation of the IU-Nebraska game.

I don't feel well... but like Duke said, 9-4 is still a good starting record. We can still beat the Warriors, and we (may) have a chance against the Lakers. They just have to shake off this loss (as hard as it will be), and get ready for Friday.

However, we got absolutely outrebounded tonight. That was awful. I wish I could have caught more of the game, but I saw enough of the end.

Our arena, their arena, Rucker park, it just doesn't matter. We're bigger, longer, younger, faster, and hungrier.

We played great defense. They shot 30% from the field. What ****ed us over is that we had 13 assists as a team, we can't play against a zone and they had thirty offensive rebounds.

We need Collison to start running the offense, or we need to get a new point guard. 3 or 4 assists per night aren't going to get it done, especially in a pick n roll heavy offense.

    On to the next game...

I can not recall a worst quarter of basketball than the Pacers played in the 4th. Just wow. Albeit every single call was against the Pacers in the fourth... but... only scoring 8 points??

As far as missing the second free throw on purpose, we were out of time outs with like 5 seconds left.

Still I don't understand why Vogel didn't try something different... anything... against the zone defense. Yanks some people out if they can't get it done.

Pacers got beat by a high tempo Zone. Kings collapsed the paint. Pacers have no perimeter threat so far this year. Coach Smart Knew this and out Smarted the Pacers in the 4th.

    Nothing else to say.

Is Lou Amundson the only one who knows how to box out for rebounds?

1-13 from 3 ouch that hurts. Not so much the zone(although we could of attacked it better) but we just couldn't make a shot down the stretch DC got a few open looks and the shots didn't fall that happens sometimes. PG made a few dumb mistakes as did Danny But the rebounding hurt the most they just wanted this game more than we did and that was clear all night. We will learn from this game IMO though.

Indy, I still love you, but honestly now. This is not how you win your fan base back.
