yea, I guess Danny isn't worth a couple of bench players and a 1st, what was I thinking! Not like this line up would be able to take a deep run in the playoffs!
Al Jefferson / Enes Kanter
Paul Millsap / Derrick Favors
Danny Granger / Josh Howard
Raja Bell / CJ Miles
Devin Harris / Earl Watson
I don't think Hornets will get much better then two 1st and Burks for EJ. They don't get him signed, he will walk next summer. They have another CP3 situation except EJ is worth 1/2 what CP3 was worth.
The Jazz would laugh and hang up. You are asking them to give up 2 future core players and a 1st for Granger. How are they to rebuild with trading away future core players?
They have a starting 4 with very good back up PF and C. Danny gives them a very strong starting 5.
Hayward is only starting by default.
Burks will be another 2-3 yrs. before we know if he can even be a rotational bench guy.
The time is now for the Jazz to make a move before they start losing their key guys in Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap & Devin Harris. All 3 contracts end next year. This gives them this year and next to push forward. Danny's will be coming into the last year after theirs which can always be moved if needed. It's a win win for them.
If needed, Pacers can kick them a 2012 1st and kick Hornets a 2014 1st, I just think that's to much giving for 2 bench players and a 1st. I also think it's to much for Pacers return.
