Hicks-- I can't delete my thread.

    Geezer and I posted simultaneously.

can they be combined, or mine deleted?
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

Yours should stand...mine has a misspelling in the title.

    I sooooo ashamed

but I agree...before long LArry Brown will be the senior EC coach and RC will be close behind.

Chris Ford, terrible hire. I used to respect Billy King.

I think Ford is just an interim untill they hire a real coach. I wonder if they will go after Byron?

pacertom, you can if you click on the X on the top right of your opening post on that thread.

geezer, same top right corner, first post of this thread, there's an Edit button. Use that to edit the title to fix the spelling.

The Mo Cheeks speculation will begin anew.

Ayers is a nice guy but I'm glad the 76ers made the change; he was in way over his head and you could see that he didn't have the answers or the leadership to be a head coach. I don't like Chris Ford either though so hopefully King goes out and gets a legitimate coach but its going to be tough because there probably aren't too many coaches lined up wanting to coach AI and Big Dog My dream scenario would be the 76ers giving Billy Cunningham about 6 million per year to take over as coach/gm he would clean house real fast and he would have instant credibility but at his age he probably wouldn't want to go through the grind of an NBA schedule. After this season I'm pretty sure Comcast will dish out the money and overpay to get a big time coach again, Comcast knows that the Philly fans are impatient so they won't accept mediocrity I'm guessing if Billy King makes another bad move or two he'll be out the door as well. His moves since Larry Brown left have been horrible.
