In other news. John Wall almost had a quadruple double.

19pts, 9board, 9dimes, 8TOs. Dude either is regressing or he's doing too much cause his teammates just suck.

Well done to the Pacers tonight. Our D tonight was just massive and really shows how much progress we have made that we arguably had our easiest night this season while shooting .372!Our bench is really good and will continue winning us games this season.

    Hehe, don't think that counts

I remember when Metta Wo... er, Ron Artest had a game for us that was very nearly a Quad-Double

    Pts-Assists-Blocks-Rebounds

    That was something else.

We are just one good player away to really be something here.
Not even sure that is the case, we have 7 guys that could start on any team.

    Now, now.

JO still obviously has lots of love for Indy and the Pacers even though he wears a different uniform.

Like it or not, he is one of the Pacers all-time greats, and a genuinely kind guy to boot.
Yeah, I would like to officially nominate JO for permanently off the **** list for Pacer fans. Nothing but good words have come from him about this team. Plus, he netted us Hibbert. Hell, we should retire his jersey immediately if Roy makes the All Star team!

our defense and rebounding and effort is no joke that is what wins in the playoffs.
Little known facts that may interest only me:

    - we are currently the 3rd defense in the nba in points against at 88.9 per game

    - we are currently the 4th best rebounding team at 44.5 per game

We haven't been used to those numbers since the 03/04 team.

Right now I agree. PG has been a bit more aggressive as has Hill.

How are we on the rebounding %? We shoot a horrible %, so of course we'll rebound more. There has to be a better stat to suggest a team is really a good rebounding team.

Don't have a lot of time right now to find the %s, but I'm sure someone will bail me out
My point is, we are hustling our asses off on the court, and the numbers seem to reflect that. The rebounding numbers sure aren't the most accurate, but I think my point still stands

    95.7%.

That's our team free throw percentage on the night.

I wish we didn't get a little break here I'm excited to get into this next block of 16 games. It should be a fun test to see how we do with tons of road games, facing other big teams and seeing several playoff teams.

wasn't exactly welcoming to Pacers rookies A.J. Price and Tyler Hansbrough when he visited Indianapolis this summer to film a Wheaties commercial. As Garnett exited Conseco Fieldhouse, Indiana assistant coach Lester Conner asked him to walk over and meet Price and Hansbrough, who were working out. Garnett wasn't exactly friendly. According to Conner, Garnett continued to walk out and remarked, "[Expletive] your rookies."

    Not any more!

DOCtor Rivers pull the plug on your Celtics.

Their window is not only closed but it is nailed shut and boarded up!

West was lucky he didn't board the Titanic.

FT shooting is one of our bigger strengthens IMO. Hibbert has been a little shaky early but even our big's can go to the line to knock down big FT all night long.

Tylers arms are too short. We need a longer-armed back-up PF or we will lose in the 1st round to a team with longer-armed PF's.

OK, but not for Granger, unless its the off-season.

IMO you are looking @ maybe a DC/1st for Rondo type deal.
Adding a "8th starter" is OK, but to be elite we need to upgrade PG or SF (maybe SG if you move P.George).

Just got home from work not too long ago and was going to watch the archived game on League Pass but it says there are technical difficulties. Anyone else getting this problem?

Tyler's shot is clearly off, but I think it's the glasses. Would love to see him rock the rec specs for a game.

Impressive win tonight. The defense by Danny and Hill is really awesome... both of those guys are covering their man and playing great team D.

Stephenson was in for a little while tonight without Collison, Hill, or Price. And when he was in with Price, he was handling the ball. More grist for the "Stephenson is playing point" mill.

I think Vogel and company really pushed Paul George to attack Ray Allen and make him work on D. PG must have done a better job in sticking to him off the ball, too... Allen didn't do much.

I don't understand why Roy didn't get a technical for taunting KG.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

The celtics bench might be the worst in the nba. Bass is good, but that is it
