Despite not hitting shots, the Pacers did all the little things out there tonight. Forced a lot of TOs and hit FTs.

Pacers need to pretend every team is Boston. They looked more focused than against Toronto.

That was some of the best defense I have seen so far this year. A dominating performance. We totally bullied the Celtics all night. They had no shot at winning this game.

Remember the last 5 years when teams consistently made the Pacers look lazy, disinterested and completely inept on a regular basis?

We are seeing the beginnings of our Pacers becoming the team that does that to everyone else. Are we there yet? No. But we certainly are getting closer!

Every time the Celtics lose an angel gets it wings.

I could watch the "Big Three" lose every day.

    Who wants trades now?

This team looks so dominant when they can't even shoot. I'm very happy with the team we have (though if DJ found a new home, I'd be alright with that).

We are going to have our growing pains with a rookie coach and almost nonexistent practices. Vogel seriously needs to be in the running for coach of the year already. With what little preparation he's aloud, our guys are really playing hard every night. It's not gonna be pretty, but these are hard workers who are getting the job done.

Big win blowing out Boston despite Big Roy having an off game, the bench shooting 23.3%, west only playing 20:40 and Danny still not having his outside shot working. Big games for DC and PG was great to see in a second game of a back-to-back.

Garnett wasn't exactly welcoming to Pacers rookies A.J. Price and Tyler Hansbrough when he visited Indianapolis this summer to film a Wheaties commercial. As Garnett exited Conseco Fieldhouse, Indiana assistant coach Lester Conner asked him to walk over and meet Price and Hansbrough, who were working out. Garnett wasn't exactly friendly. According to Conner, Garnett continued to walk out and remarked, "[Expletive] your rookies."

Hill & George did a good job against Ray Allen. 3-9, only 1 three, and they weren't giving him any good looks.

This game had a playoff atmosphere. I can't wait to see if we face the Bulls in the playoffs. My only problem though, is that we are still getting off to slow starts. If we play with the same intensity throughout every game we can beat any team in the league.

Not much to say about this game really. We just really handled a team that is struggling mightily and looks in serious need of ubuntu juice.

One point of discussion I think could be interesting is Fluffy's role moving forward. So far, we have used him relatively sparingly, giving Tyler a lot of minutes, working Jeff in, and playing some small ball. He's still playing two quarters' worth of minutes but that's still not much. It's obvious that he's not the best rebounder. In fact, he may be better on the offensive end than on the defensive end. He's not much of a defender. He doesn't show or recover very well when guarding the pick and roll. For the most part, we have started him and played him at the end of close games. So, the question is: do people see this as the David West of the next two years? The guy who truly is a piece of the puzzle, a guy who starts and (sometimes) ends games, who brings leadership, poise, and great touch on the offensive end. Or will be play more minutes and will we have to rely on him more throughout the game as the season progresses? Is he still getting his legs/conditioning back or is this more or less his physical mean?

I think with the way Roy has played, Fluff has become the answer to my poll earlier in the year, "Who is our third best player?" I think this would be an interesting discussion since we can't really ***** about AJ vs. Lance or **** on Danny, who really made a difference on Pierce (again) and found some nice scoring opportunities inside.

Yes, I was thinking that too. ESPECIALLY on the defensive end, they were dialed in most of the game.

The offense is slowing coming around too. Good decision by Coach V to set the tone defensively first and play catchup on the offense side of the floor.

Michael Pina, Red94: "There are so many different ways the Pacers can beat you. They have an All-Star scoring threat, imposing figures on the front line, steady point guard play, and most importantly, a defense that'll choke the life out of just about every offense that crosses its path."

    Now, now.

JO still obviously has lots of love for Indy and the Pacers even though he wears a different uniform.

Like it or not, he is one of the Pacers all-time greats, and a genuinely kind guy to boot.
