Fossilize the Raptors!
Game time: 7:00PM EST
For your INDIANA PACERS
And for the Toronto Raptors
7-3 (3-3 Away)
4-7 (2-3 Home)
The Pacers are pretty healthy. Seemingly everyone should be able to go tonight, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Foster sit this one out.
For the Raptors, Bargnani is day to day with a calf injury, if he cannot go tonight look for Ed Davis of maybe even Jamaal Magloire to start in his place.
And now for our newly sponsored section of the game thread brought to you by Jack Link's Beef Jerky...
THE MESSIN' WITH SASQUATCH KEYS TO THE GAME
The Raptors Demar Derozan started out this season appearing to finally be getting his legs underneath him as a consistent scorer, including a 22 point game against the Pacers. However, since last Friday, Derozan has been on the midnight train to Chucktown, he is shooting 31% from the field and has seen his scoring average drop to 14PPG. Keeping this trend alive will be Paul George's order of business tonight.
All Roy, all the time. The Raptors are an exceptionally shallow front court even by crappy eastern conference teams' standards particularly on the defensive end. Roy needs to be fed, and fed often.
And finally, the Raptors will be playing their 6th game since last Friday night, January 6th. That has included a back to back AND a back to back to back. They are 1-4 in the first 5 games, including a loss to the Wizards. There's no reason to beat around a bush, this is a team the Pacers should beat even when they are well rested, and tonight, with what will likely be tired legs, there is really no reason the Pacers shouldn't come out with a win.
