I have little patience for a player who makes those kind of decisions. Price misses the mid-range then takes it again within 1 sec. of the reset clock, this time in a leaner, with two men guarding him?!?! Those types of plays tell me a lot about a player. It was a crucial moment of the game, and Roy was on the floor playing great. He is supposed to be our point guard. That play and the failed 4 on 1 sucked the air out of our team. It was the mid-range jumpers though that really diminished my opinion of him as a player. Inexcusable hero-ball from a third string PG.

I love Danny, but the jury is out on his chemistry with Paul George.

I hope we make a run at Wilson Chandler when he's eligible to come stateside. Although, I think he's restricted.

    He was wide open.

AJ's shooting was terrible. But he was playing the shooting guard position, and he had an open shot. He's supposed to shoot. Those two men were like, four feet away guarding the post.

Well we certainly missed Hill and Danny tonight.

We'll need them against Atlanta on Wednesday.

Granger has averaged about 2.5 more points per game in his career. Iggy has averaged 2.7 more assists.

Offensively, it's pretty close. Defensively, it's a runaway.

Considering my credibility was refuted by the person calling EJ "a poor man's Marcus Thornton," my feelings aren't exactly hurt.

I think Danny is a better defender for what its worth. They are very similar players though IMO.

13.5 for Iguadola and 12 for Danny, just a bit more.

One of the two had the highest +/- on the team, the only player with a positive, one of the two had the lowest and had an astounding -17 in nine minutes of play at one point. Care to guess which?

AJ hasn't put up good stats in any of the games he's played. But it's about the eye test. And the eye test is pretty obvious. He didn't play well because of the shooting. But he was probably better than DC when you consider offense that was run and defense (and the fact that DC didn't shoot much better...)

Regardless of individual stat lines, again, the team is much better with AJ on the court than they are with Lance.

It isn't coincidental that AJ was a +2 and Lance was a -12.

And AJ got that +2 despite having to play a lot of minutes with Lance.

No. They both shot like ****

AJ actually played pretty well, on both sides of the floor. He wasn't perfect, he made some mistakes, but in terms of being a court general, he was pretty good. Defensively, he was quite good.

Iggy is a much better defender for his career it really isnt even close. Iggy got to play in the world's due to it. Granger is a much better shooter than Iggy but Iggy is better at almosy everything else.

As much as you find the time to throw subtle jabs at Lance, you sure baby AJ

Its always an excuse wrapped around his poor play

So you saying regardless of a 1-7 night, he hada good game?

Not as good as the other two games, but defensively, he did. He had like, one bad play, and it was followed by stealing the ball.

No one other than Roy played "well." But AJ wasn't worse than anyone else on the team. This kid makes one bad play and half the board convinces themselves that he's sucked the entire game and he belongs in the D-League.

And what excuse is there? He had a terrible shooting night and a bad play. Find a guard on the team where that phrase doesn't apply to. And AJ did a lot of positive things too. It's not just about stats. The kid manages to run something that resembles a decent offense with Tyler and DJones in the game. He played his butt off on the defensive end. He wasn't perfect, clearly. That doesn't mean he didn't have a positive impact. The fact that the team just seems to play better with Price in the game isn't a coincidence.

If you mean better than Lance being there , I would agree

If you mean better as in the Pacers offense flows better with AJ on the court, im not sure

I will say I am so displeased with DC , that I would not mind either George Hill or AJ start at the point

Notice the bait-and-switch from Mackey? He switched the disagreement from scoring (points), which I objected to, to "offensively," where he could include Iguodala's passing numbers.

I would never object to the claim that Iguodala's a more "complete" player. That's obvious. I objected to the claim that Danny is "maybe a slightly better scorer."

Anyway, for their careers, Granger averages nearly five more points per-36 (14.8 vs. 19.6), and he does it while shooting both a higher TS% and eFG%.

Significantly more points on better efficiency? That's a little more than "maybe a slightly better scorer," which is the silly comment that ruined Mackey's already suspect credibility regarding Danny.
