What a great game. I liked it even more that the Pacers came out in the 2nd half after playing really bad in the first half and completely dominated the rest of the game.

There sure were alot of injuries in that game. There were 3 or 4 twisted ankles, Tyler got scratched all to hell on his neck, George got suplexed on his tailbone, Tyrus got a kick to the groin, Jeff damn near knocked out Kemba on an awesome pick near the end of the first half. There was probably more that I missed. That was a very scrappy game.

Roy Hibbert for president. They are gonna have to pay the dude. George Hill too.
It seemed like the floor was slippery. A lot of falling even without the injuries.

Vogel on Roy and coming back from ankle injury: "The kid wants to play... he wants to play 48 mins a game. I love it..... But he's not gonna play 48 mins a game."

Hill, Granger, Tyler, DC, Roy and West all in double figures, Two straight nights we have had six guys do that, that will win a lot of games, sharing the basketball is fun to watch

The player I'm most impressed with the progress he has made since the start of the season(how he started it and where he is now) is easily George Hill.He looked really rusty at the first couple of matches, missing opens shots etc but he has really improved in the last matches, seems much more confident, the team can rely on him and both yesterday and today he was simply brilliant.Very good option to have off the bench.

Sorry, but I'd rather have a president that performed consistently and well for the entirety of his term; not just for the second half.

25 first half pts last nite.
    28 2nd hald pts tonight
    Me like!

Roy is becoming a stud, Paul is still up & down, & D.West & G.Hill are the biggest reason we are getting praise, respect, & have 6 all-star ballot players (though G.Hill is not one of them).

This was also Brook O's best game by far IMO. I think having her Area 55 cherry popped may have been a factor!!! She is getting more comfortable & her "Kate Hudson'esk" look & personality are winning me over!.

David West's skill that I did not know? outlet passing.

This is the second game that he got the ball (rebound or out-of-bounds) and hit a streaking wing.

Hibbert was solid on the block tonight. He was patient, calculated and aggressive. I hope this Roy stays around.

Sookie is right. The second unit is soooooo much better with AJ. His defense on Kema was the best on the team.

As much as Darren and PG struggled on their men in the first half, they turned it on in the second half. And I have to say that it was George Hill's presence that infected them. He took both Gerald Henderson and Augustine off their game.

Tyler and DJones are what they are. If you throw Lance with them you have another wild card. Why not just allow AJ to take the second unit and stay under control. With him and George Hill in the back court, it would be best to have PG come back instead of DJones.

Paul George is getting slopping on defensive positioning. Henderson looked like an All-Star with PG on him.

    Foster is my hero.

Interesting stat: the Pacers got out reb'd and still won the game.

    Charlotte 48 reb/22 OR .... Pacers 45/13 OR

A bit OT, but did you guys see that sportsmanship commercial during the game?

The commercial showed this high school championship game. One of the players knocks the ball out of bounds and the referees miss the call. The kid tells his coach that the ball was off him and his coach does something to get the other team the ball. The rest of the honest kids teammates are upset and are giving him grief. The kid then goes to the ref and tells him that the ball was off him and I assume they are going to then give it to the other team?

    /ranton

What a ridiculous commercial. First of all, it's not sportsmanship to correct a referees mistake, that's actually showing up the referee. Bad calls are part of the game and it evens out with those for and against your team. It also kills the chemistry with his teammates, who all rightfully want to beat the crap out of him for giving away the game when he shouldn't even be opening his mouth.

Secondly, who makes commercials for sportsmanship? Sportsmanship, now only $.99, open till midnight!

When you play defense like we did to night everybody is gonna get boards they shot less than 35% I believe. You should win 100% of your games when you play that kind of defense.

    WARNING! Possibly meaningless stat alert!

In the Pacers last 8 quarters of play, they have held their opponent under 20 points in 6 of them.

Roy has improved but with all the scoring options on the team you just cannot double him as much.
Thus he is having a great season so far. Plus I don't believe he is playing out of position as much so he is in better position to get rebounds.

I thought we had no shot of winning going into halftime. We were so flat. Very impressive second half.

I also thought this was Roy's best game this season. The offense is finally starting to go through him.

    Poor Sport Alert!
I'm sure I saw G.Hill asking the ref to give D.Henderson a break.

These Pacers have a chance to be a great TEAM. It is a beautiful thing to behold. I loved what Vogel picked up from his time with Doc Rivers. Ubuntu....or togetherness or in other words teamwork.

How nice was it to see a decent crowd at the fieldhouse against a nobody opponent?

Side note: my Swype keyboard on my phone auto corrects 'fieldhouse' to 'fetishist.'

Sent from my phone because I seriously have no life...

Just got back from the game, does anyone know why West was limited in minutes in the 2nd half? He didn't play at all in the 4th.

They said nothing so I assume rest... interviewed him and he didn't say anything.. still coming back from his injury and there have been a lot of games in a small span. I'm not worried.

Jeff Foster may be the most underappreciated Pacer of all time. He comes in the game and patrols all the way out past the 3 point line to lay a body on both Walker and Augustin and changes the entire flow of the Bobcats offense.
