    Mackey's gonna love this:

    Michael (B-Town)

How many times does Danny Granger have to hike up a bad shot before realizing the rest of his team is in better position?

    John Hollinger (12:12 PM)

    You misspelled "Hansbrough"

'You misspelled Hansbrough" Damn....I kind of agree though, Danny is a bad offender of chucking up shots, but Tyler only sees one thing and that where the rim is.

LOL I love it I agree 1000% with it.

Rondo would do wonders he gets the C's so many transition 3s or dunks and just easy buckets even in the half court especially for Ray. A guy like Rondo has gifts no one on the Pacers could dream of.

But that Hans joke is so true.

In seriousness, Indy has a problem with all those black-hole type offensive players. They've the ball well once in six games and won it in a blowout. But they need better passers, especially in the backcourt. Rondo would be unbelievable on that team.

Judging by his shooting percentage, he doesn't even see that clearly.

Hollinger has an irrational hatred of Granger and Hansbrough. He has it out for them.

Thoughts on MarShon Brooks? The kid can score. Doc was doubling him the whole second half last night.

Saw a lot of Nets while I was seeing family this last week. Brooks is soooo long, he can get his shot off on anyone, but he has near-total tunnel vision. I like his length as much on boards and defense if he applies himself there. Offensively, he's great getting points for a bad team but I worry whether he can do it efficiently, and whether he'll ever record an assist.
It is scary how much we agree I think he read my pre draft post on Brooks before making this comment they are really similar.

He is just a better version of Jordan Crawford every team can use a guy like him. But you sure better have a muzzle to put on them. Brooks will shoot you out a fair share of games IMO but the kid can score.

We should of traded Granger ages ago. Sucks now his value might be dropping a bit. Also sucks we are labeled "irrational haters" because we don't like his game the past few years.

And yet a large majority of this board, wouldn't have traded Paul George or Danny Granger for Rajon Rondo...mind boggling.

Heck, some people wouldn't even consider giving up Hansbrough for him.

Does another thread really need to be about how awful you guys think Tyler is? I would think the other 3-4 current threads would be enough.

Can you think of any reason why Raja Bell starts, or gets any minutes at all for that matter?
    John Hollinger

Probably the greatest mystery in the league thus far. It's not like he was awesome last year and this is taking them by surprise. All the Jazz are doing is delaying the development curve for Burks.
This has drove me nuts early the Jazz are playing vets while rebuilding instead of playing all the young guys. Ty Corbin is like JOB why cant he be like Paul Silas. Dont they relize they are killing their future job status by not playing the young kids. They had to give Okur away so Corbin didnt play him 30mpg I guess I don't get it if you are rebuilding totally rebuild and don't play bad vets. I would fire him if I was the GM that would be my #1 pet peeve.

Not mine he cant pass or doesnt have the vision too I didnt think he would fit well here. Burks was one of my favorites good scorer and creator had 6 assists the other nights(more than Brooks may ever get he is still super raw needs to get stronger though he has Brandon Roy like passing ability at the SG and the big Sebian was my other favorite along with Reggie Jackson.

Yep his shooting percentage sucks but have you seen the other former All Stars shooting percentage? Danny is shooting .317 and West is shooting .400, who has more responsibility the 6th man on the team or the two biggest pay players on the team? Danny making 12mil and West 10mil

Because Raja ****ING Bell's corpse Ty Corbin is an idiot. He will struggle this year IMO he is still pretty frail but when he adds weight he will be really good. I just like his style over Brooks. Ty Corbin should start his young guys and play them as much as possible Raja Bell should be in a suit on the sideline he brings nothing to a rebuilding team except in practice teaching.

I expect Kevin O'Conner to start getting him PT sooner or later.

But Burks really fits the Jazz system which is a passing based system.

No one thinks that any PD member is a 'hater' specifically because they have a problem with the poor(er) qualities of a given Indiana Pacer.

It has a lot more to do with the surrounding characteristics involved. The perceived attitude/emotion behind it when it does get said; the perception of having no interest in what they do right, only in what they do wrong, sometimes the timing makes it look like piling on while most fans are emotionally down over a bad performance/loss, the way the comments are written to where it feels like it's not simply a general comment but almost a pleasurable experience of some kind to bring these negatives up, things of that nature that I'm sure others could elaborate on better than I am doing right now.

I almost wish we could put the word "hater" on the banned list. I'm mostly kidding, but does it ever add anything to a discussion (other than antagonism and oversimplification)? I haven't seen it.

I will admit Tyler is my favorite player on the team but I honestly don't see anything wrong with his shot selection this year. He has missed tons of wide open jumpers which he should hit, has had several point blank shots roll off and has been blocked a few times in bad jump shots with the shot clock about to expire.

I could see it he was talking contested shots or getting eating up by the defense or going 3-1 like Danny has done at times but he has the same amount of blocks against as West in 3 more shots and 1 more than Big Roy in 9 more attempts at not all his stuffs have came near the rim.
