I see it a different way. I think he did it in the trust of his teammates... He wouldn't have made that pass to Earl Watson.

I feel like this is an unofficial passing of the torch... We sincerely looked like a solid team, and we just beat what used to be the best team in the game on the road.

Not everyone played well, but the demeanor and feel of the team was just talented.
Woah woah woah, lets not bounce the other way so quickly on this PD roller coaster everyone seems to be on. This is a good hard-fought win. I'm proud of the players to bounce back with some fight after such a humiliating loss. But lets not get ahead of ourselves with this "passing of the torch" thing. There's still a lot of improvement to be made. This sort of thing is just as bad as the sky-is-falling mentality after the Heat loss.

    That said, GO PACERS!

Danny Granger the entire game. And he played him almost perfectly.

I saw Danny and Dahntay on him.

Poor PG guarding Ray. PG played decent defense..Ray was just on, and there's nothing you can do about it.

This is why he'd be a perfect guy to have on our bench.

I loved how he was directing traffic on the floor.

I continue to be hopeful for Stephenson, but I'm ready to see AJ get more time at the point, and Hill get his at the 2.
I'm also optimistic when it comes to Lance, but I'd like to see a couple more games with A.J. in the mix. Anyone know if Lance is expected back soon?

Also, does anyone think the Danny Granger and David West we have seen the past 7 games will be the same ones we see in February? I have a feeling they both just need to get more games under their belt and get comfortable.

I didn't get to watch the game, but the box score indicates Danny Granger busted out of his slump in a big way tonight!

I don't think that it was Danny lacking confidence as much as it was a great display of trust in DC. He made the smart play.

Despite their struggles offensively, this team is still together. The chemistry is still there. It speaks volumes about the character on this team. A team full of young guys could very easily go south when things get tough --Wizards, anyone? But this team won't fold. And it will be a joy to watch them when they really click. We only saw a glimpse of that tonight.

I think Danny was smart to pass the ball to DC if he thought DC had higher chance to make this open shot.

Gotta give credit for Danny, staying active and involved even when his shot isn't falling.

Danny under JOB would just drift and get uninterested when he wasn't playing well offensively.

It represents a shift in priorities and philosophy on his part. Once the offense comes around he will be much more well rounded for it.

Massive win and really happy. We also have a game tomorrow against the Bobcats, right?
D.West might have had his worst offensive game for the Pacers but he was solid in the defense picking 10 boards.

How is that? 3 out of 14 shots.

edit: not saying that he didn't do a lot of things, but if you are looking at the box score you would think he was horrible.

Tonight makes me even more excited for the near courtside seats I bought for tomorrows game. I will be literally 2 rows from the floor. I generally sit in the lower bowl anytime I go, but it's usually near the top of it. Tomorrow I could spit on a player as they run by.

Just from watching recoveries, I expect West will have a bit of a dip in his play, and then probably turn it around at some point and play well.

If I had to guess, he'll be about 80% (and play like it...which is pretty good..) in March..and that's about where he'll be until next season.

Which gets me excited. There's no way that this is a fully recovered David West, and he's been pretty decent so far. I'll fully admit I was wrong with not wanting him at all. I just hope..when he struggles..(and it'll be a miracle if he doesn't) fans will be patient.

Lets not ruin this great win with an egg in charlotte tomorrow.

    5-2 baby!

Awesome considering most of our games have been on the road.

He was excellent besides his shooting.
