That's the worst I have seen Boston play in a long long time. Part of it was good D by the Pacers, but they were awful.

Defense wins games - our D was awesome at the end to wrap up the W - loved the intensity

This box score might confuse some detractors: A.J. Price played 14 minutes and only took 1 shot.

Hibbert, Granger and West still can't hit the broad side of a barn and the Pacers handle a solid team on the road. Bench play, defense and rebounding were very good, and excellent shooting from deep kept this game pretty smooth.

Beating teams before everything comes together is very encouraging. The starters can only get better at putting the ball in the hoop.

I feel like this is an unofficial passing of the torch... We sincerely looked like a solid team, and we just beat what used to be the best team in the game on the road.

Not everyone played well, but the demeanor and feel of the team was just talented.

Big steals by Granger. And it's good to finally see George Hill produce.

This win makes up for the Detroit loss.

To be 5-2 with only TWO home games is impressive.

Now the Pacers need to follow up this performance with a win over a bad Charlotte team tomorrow. Let's keep the momentum going!

Defesively this was the best I have seen the Pacers this year. Danny slipped slightly in the 3rd, but locked it down in the 4th.

Darren Collison was the MVP of the game. He only had 4 assists, but he pressured their defense. He has been solid this year.

George Hill was great. The step up jumper after a ball fake is a stellar move that you do not usually see at this level.

Foster's numbers do not tell the tale. His +/- has to be incredible. He sets the best pick out there.

That said I do not think we know how to utilize West yet on the pick and pop. But PG's 3pt% is indicative of he and Tyler spacing the floor.

LOVING the Price/Hill backcourt and the Hansbrough/Foster tandem. Our bench came up huge for us in this game. The Celtics' bench had yet to be outplayed this season, but we outdid them tonight.

A preseason away from JOB/month with Shaw, healthy body and someone to pass the ball to...that can actually score.. will do wonders. That's what a point guard looks like. And I love that his stats don't suggest he did much, but anyone who watched knows he did.

I think the team played well, and I was glad to see bouncing back from the Miami game. The hustle from Paul George, the defense from Danny Granger (the made shots by Tyler. ) Nice all around game.

Also loved seeing Foster back. I'm all for keeping him healthy for the playoffs though. He's at that age, but when he plays..he's so important to the team.

Also, the psychological aspect of Danny's game is different... Instead of taking an open shot that he would have forced last year, he passed it off to DC who sealed it. Pretty legit stuff, and a lot of growth there.

danny had a top of the key midrange. it was also a good shot to take, i just think he lacked confidence to make it and made the safer play.

I loved how he was directing traffic on the floor.

I continue to be hopeful for Stephenson, but I'm ready to see AJ get more time at the point, and Hill get his at the 2.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

I really like seeing PG leaving the floor first and then coming back in for DG33. That means he, Tyler, and GH are our offensive weapons.
