Steve Francis might be next to be traded with the way he just ended the game against the Spurs. That had to be the most selfish play that I ever seen on a basketball court. you should have seen the look on Van Gundy's face at the end of the game...Wow.
I saw that first I thought how happy I am he is not our pg and that we have a real pg. Second I thought so long and thanks for the fish because he is outa there.

maybe now, we can trade for terry...

will kenny anderson, brewer, primo work salary wise?
With the current guards we have, I'd rather keep Primo.

    Seriously.

About Portland, I really think another trade is in the works. It just don't make sense otherwise. We could pull a Pollard/Freddy for Dale in a heartbeat, but it's a bad trade for us. Cro/Freddy I'm not even wild about.

Now, Cro/Anderson/Pick for Davis would make me quite happy, and it would clear out the rotation some.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

I, too, agree with dipperdunk. The NBA shouldn't let this trade go through. Would the Hawks make this trade if the weren't going through an ownership transition? I am not sure that it would.

What free agent signing could they make to justify this trade? Can thier attendance get any worse becasue the fans shouldn't have to pay to see that roster. This has to be one of the worst moves of our newly begun century.
"They could turn out to be only innocent mathematicians, I suppose," muttered Woevre's section officer, de Decker.

"'Only.'" Woevre was amused. "Someday you'll explain to me how that's possible. Seeing that, on the face of it, all mathematics leads, doesn't it, sooner or later, to some kind of human suffering."

It's no worse than the NBA leting the Lakers pick up All Stars for chump change.

As for us getting Dale, it won't happen unless Portland would be willing to take Croshere and Anderson. That trade works but it adds 27 million to Portlands salary cap and they are wanting to lower their spending.

We would have to entice them with young players and I'm not willing to do that, even for Dale.

The reason Portland traded us JO to start with is Dale was an All Star and they thought he along with Kemp would get them over the top in the West. That didn't work and look at them now.

If we traded them young players we would be doing what they did, hoping for a quick fix to get us over the top. No thank you, I'll dance with the girl I brought to the prom!
